Less than 90 days after a medical emergency I was sent to Collections for non payment of internet. This establishment is greedy, poor customer service, masked behind a layer of professionalism. This company isn't even close to what it use to be.

So today I asked your 1 of the 4 associates sitting down if there were any free phone upgrades and all I got was lazy attitude answer from one of them that there hasn’t been any free phones for the last 3-5 years. Is that the typical high standard GCI customer service rendered these days? SMFH. Just because of that incident, I’m cancelling one of our wireless lines….

Worse company ever. I’m limited to using their home internet since I have no other option. Internet is always going out and therefore so is my security camera. Avoid services from this company at all cost. Fingers crossed Anchorage Communications has service in my location. I will be leaving asap.

No data coverage in North Slope Borough Villages. Their $200 unlimited internet plan is capped at 4TB per month. Please stop calling it unlimited.The free modem is tolerable of you put it in bridge mode. But I still bought a new one.

I heard from an ex GCI worker that if you call them, they purposely keep you on hold in hopes that you'll give up and Hang up. Just wow.

Went in to cancel service and salesperson lied to me about when my service ended and now they are trying to bill me for an entire month I didn't use their service. Horribly deceptive sales technique. Online customer service is not consistent in addressing concerns, some claim one thing and others say they don't. Glad we've switched.

I spent 5hrs total at the Dimond Ctr getting my phone. Thanks to the help of friends and family after finding out that it would have cost 155.00(USD) to jailbreak my old phone.. In hours spent at the GCI store, it was significantly less.(about 1hr) I finally got my new number, and phone(Galaxy A12) TOTALLY professional staff took care of all concerns, and even put up with me returning 3 times. 5 STARS FOR DIMOND CTR GCI!!!!!

Consumer Consultant, Gary, was knowledgeable, positive, patient, and very helpful in explaining all the answers I needed in making my decisions. He's an excellent representative for GCI; he'd be a superb trainer/coach for Customer Service representatives.

The workers in the store are very friendly and do what they can. However, no one ever wants to advertise there is a separate number for technical support if you live in Anchorage. Good luck to anyone who needs customer service or technical support outside of what the store can offer.
