Not a good experience with this company. A couple of years ago I investigated sending an acoustic guitar from Anchorage to Boston that only really had a cheap case. The quotes were outrageous (started at over $200 for the slowest speed available) and I think I ended up just getting it packed and bringing it as a carry on. The packing job was cheap... just threw it in a box with bubble wrap and packing peanuts.
I just had an another package arrive carrying a framed picture from Anchorage and the packing was very mediocre. Bubble wrap and peanuts - the glass on the print is shattered and it was clearly just sliding around inside the box... peanuts had zero effect. Save your money... pack things yourself and ship them out. I remember commercials where they had custom boxes and spray foams and stuff as a kid but they use the cheapest things and charge a HUGE premium. Avoid at all costs.

Been going here for years because they've got the best selection. But the service has been slipping. Today I walked in and ... nobody there. Not the first time this has happened. No bell on the door to let them know someone opened it. No bell on the counter to ring for service. I hung around waiting - could hear kids playing in the background, but no adults. Nobody showed up. So I left.

My out of state move was seamless from start to finish thanks to The Packaging Store! They safely packaged my furniture and household goods, and my items arrived quickly and in perfect condition! The staff was extremely helpful, and no detail was overlooked. Highly recommend!

Shipped from Alaska to California. They stacked three pallets with some oddly shaped items and everything made it just fine. Customer service was excellent, and I would definitely use them again.

Pete and this team were an absolute delight to work with. I am local to Florida so I was a bit worried about getting things pickup and shipped to Florida but they made it such an easy and stress free process, even working with the crazy time zone difference.
