Reylen was super helpful with accommodations for my wife and I during a small mishap on our honeymoon. Couldn't ask for a nicer person. Thank you

The housekeeping and maintenance staff are very pleasant. However, I would encourage Hilton to get some help for the morning/day shift front desk person. She informed us this morning that she "can only handle one guest request at a time!" We simply informed her the coffee pot was empty. This is the second day in a row that she has been condescending and down right nasty. Either she is overwhelmed or this position is not the right fit for her. Not looking forward to tomorrow morning's coffee.I would expect more from a Hilton property.

I and the husband were there celebrating our 6th wedding Anniversary. We usually stay at another Hilton property or Home2. We decided to stay at this property due to the reasonable rates. When we arrived, we received exceptional customer service from ALL staff and were BLOWN away by the beautifully decorated room. The house keeping staff Miss. Susan, front desk staff New Year, GM Kelly and Barbara, OMG!!!! It was beyond what was expected. Front desk staff Mr. Luke, houseman Mr. Ed and Miss New Year gave the best, warmest welcome walking in the front door. He even texted us while enjoying the amenities and gifts placed in the room, just to check in to see if we needed anything. I was in tears. My husband works two jobs and coaches everyday. I work all day everyday and attend college each night after working all day. Our Anniversary was a much needed break and rest period. We ended up passing out after enjoying the jacuzzi, lol but enjoyed the highly beautiful decors and gifts. Thank you Home2 staff for making our Anniversary one for the books. We give 5 stars.Love,Carlette & Glenn Ratcliff 2/14/24

This was not a good experience. The front desk service is not very freindly, nor did they mention they were going to charge a petty $6 per day for parking. Thats just the most petty thing and for that reason alone, I will not be returning. I stay in much larger metropolitan cities all the time and they do not even charge for parking in most cases, if they do, they tell you up front. The walls are so thin, you will hear everything in the next door room to yours. Good luck getting any sleep if you have a noisy and rude person staying next door as I did. The lobby is a mess, there is no easy way to enter and either approach the front desk or navigate to the evelvators without climbing over tables and chairs placed in akward positions.

Filthy rooms. Bed had dry body fluid, the room smelled like Bigfoot was living in there, and tje sofa was so tore up and dirty we never sat on it. No other rooms were available and parking was terrible. I got a sense that the whole place was like this. Do not stay here!Rooms: Dirty.

I work in AK frequently and have not been impressed with the Garden Inn across the street. Hotels in AK are unique and many people don't seem to understand that. My expectations were pretty low coming into this trip. But the Home2Suites is very clean and comfortable. Night and day compared to the garden inn (which is filthy and old). I would recommend home2 any day. It's the first hotel I've stayed in, in AK, that felt clean and well kept. Great area if you work with the local hospitals but def not the most walkable. Best bonus is having a kitchenette. No creepy crawlies either.

Ryan took care of my family.Accommodating all of our needs. From scheduling item drop offs to supplying us with items needed in room.Luke(?) Is great also and very helpful. 86 rooms checked out one day and THREE house keepers knocked them all out. Our room was cleaned and restocked with everything as house keeping was awesome. Needed one small repair in room and maintenance was there ASAP and fixed the issue for us. Breakfast was lacking items as deliveries were behind several days. Not sure why management couldn't have purchased a few half gallons of milk for cereal to accommodate guests on the days when they knew there was none available. $20's for milk would have gone aong way to guest satisfaction. (Sometimes it's the little things, that make a property stand out.) Seems kind of silly to me to disappoint guest and recieve discouraging reviews for lack of an easily accessible item. Property is clean and has pool, laundry, barbeque and numerous other areas. Easy entrance spacious handicap rooms outfitted for those who need ♿ rooms.Remember people tell eight(8) friends they had a great time. They tell twenty-five(25) when they are disappointed!!!! We had a great time and highly recommend this property.Rooms: Disability room with wide door ways and roll in shower. Everything lowered for use.Nearby activities: Everything with in a couple miles and or walking distance.Safety: Entry Doors locked at nightFood & drinks: Breakfast was shy on items as deliveries had not been made. What was available was good.Noteworthy details: Pool and hot tub are awesome. There is a fire pit area for sitting in front of property. Also a barbeque (2) area next to pool out back. Clean washer dryer located in the Gym. The gym area is clean and filled with great options. Small business office area with computers in front of check in desk. Multiple bathrooms on first floor. Small area to our base food and snacks. Large seating area for eating or hanging out in lobby. Get a wristband for the pool at the front desk.

For how much they charge during peak travel/tourist season… this place is a dump. It’s not where as clean as you would expect for the price you pay. Stayed for around 3 weeks…The computer chair in my room was disgusting and stained… requested a new one and I just got a less stained chair.Found mold in my breakfast that the hotel serves… it’s a frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast bowl, which can really only mold if they kept the leftovers and reheated.Service was also a little depressing. Front desk wasn’t friendly or welcoming. They act like you inconvenience every time you ask them for something.I know two people found bed bugs in their room during my stay.

Visiting Anchorage Alaska and stayed@ Home2 was the best decision. While walking into the hotel is 1st impression. Cleanliness, you could smell freshness 2nd organization, bright colors couches, tables , fireplace everything flows. 3rd, employees are helpful, alert, awareness of surrounding and paying attention to details. 4, They might be quiet@ first just need to warm up. The pool, jacuzzi and fitness center and laundry room, fantastic.Rooms: Even though the couch needed to be fixed or replace I wasn’t going to focus on it. My focus was visiting family reconnecting to nature and make it my best. I’m sure and positive that this review Will correct ✅ anything that needs adjustment and correction. I have FAITH.Nearby activities: Activities always ask your hotel or p/u activities brochures,@ the Anchorage Airport. They have activities info, maps and more.Safety: I felt safe. Alaska everyone I met is helpful. I also notice Anchorage is Clean I did not see any graffiti. People of Anchorage are very kind, nice, welcoming and helpful.Walkability: Golden Corral walking distance, Starbucks 1 block away, restaurants close by,Food & drinks: SimpleNoteworthy details: Clean, Clean, clean. You can smell cleanliness as you enter into the Hotel.

The room was great and the staff was excellent, especially Ryan. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. It is conveniently located to downtown. The only issue during our stay was the fact that a food delivery didn't come in so they were out of a few things for a couple days.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!TLDR: We were unable to stay at this hotel at all! They basically kicked us out to a cheaper hotel which is one hour away at 1 AM.After 10 hours of kayaking, and a 6-hour drive, we arrived at the hotel, only to find out they didn't have a room for us. This Home2 hotel was overbooked. They only realized this on the same day as our check-in, and what was their solution? They left us a voice message at 11 am, saying we would be reassigned to another hotel (a Best Western that was over $100 cheaper and required a 1-hour drive to another town). Unfortunately, when they attempted to call us, we were on a glacier tour with no signal reception, so we missed the call. You might think that overbooking is somewhat normal, but the situation became truly ridiculous after our arrival. We told the front desk that it made no sense to drive another hour in the middle of the night. She found us a nearby hotel that was slightly more expensive than this one, but the manager, Anthony, didn't approve of it. The manager basically said that he didn't care at all and that we needed to pay the full price for that nearby hotel, and we can’t take back what we already paid.Home2, managed by Hilton, has demonstrated their complete disregard for their customers. Their incompetence of managing this situation, lack of empathy, and blatant disregard for our travel plans have left me furious beyond words. Moreover, their disorganized back-end transactions would devour your money (where is our $100?). Avoid this hotel like the plague!
