La Bodega is a store with a beautiful spot and an interesting inventory. It offers a wonderful and excellent selection of wine, beer, and spirits. It is the only place in Anchorage that offers the option to buy a single beer from a pack. They offer a broader variety of hard-to-find local and international items, including local Alaska products, craft cider, and mead. You will find things here that you cannot find in any other area liquor store. While their main categories like whiskey can be narrow, they are able to get ahold of allocated items. The staff and customer service are fantastic, knowledgeable, and great. They go above and beyond to help with recommendations, showing where things are, and lifting items. They make you feel helped without being watched. They are excited to work with customers on particular items and bulk orders for events, offering a discount. They provide easy pick-up. Customers are very impressed and love shopping there regularly, calling it perfetto and a 10/10.
Lots of local selection. No yelp for the location downtown yet, that one is smaller and they have way less in stock. I like that you can mix and match and make your own six pack. The individual cans or bottles are at a good price point.
