My husband and I came into the store looking to buy two hats and we had them picked out, then the guy proceeded to offer us the customization but disagrees with the font we picked, the size and the placement all because it wasn't his style. The male manager wasn't using good English at all and was not professional as a store manager should be. We tried to cancel the hat he had started and just check out with the one hat that wasn't customized, but he made us leave the store once I said he did not have good customer service, I did not have an attitude and those were my words, he then went to say "do you guys a problem with me" and got up close to my face and told us that we needed to leave the store. I do not recommend going to this store if that make manager is there. He did not greet us nor let us just check out with the one item, once I complained about his customer service.

Terrible customer service. The Asian employee kept rushing me when I was trying to make a decision on what I wanted to buy. He was disrespectful to myself and my mother.

Lids 5th Ave is bright and walkable. The young lady working when we stopped by was welcoming. We were given a detailed tour of each wall, and what Lids had to offer. They also have clear signage and mirrors that I thought was helpful. Lids customizes hats. I know that now, only because of how thorough their worker was. There are other sportswear and accessories to choose from, at most price points.

6 pm on a sat night, 1-21-23, Staff member was busy on his phone, and when we wanted to buy something he said his register was down, so could only do cash deals. Also the music was using profanity and racist remarks in it. It was very loud. Clearly not proper for a business that has families and kids in it.

The lack of professionalism and customer service! No greetings, no help, nothing. People actually like to go to places where they feel welcomed, we did not feel welcomed at all!

The most severe lack of professionalism in a business I’ve ever seen. I have called both their locations and Anchorage over 10 times during business hours. Either no one answers the phone at all or answer the phone, doesn’t say anything, then hangs up. Pathetic. I’ll go online for my orders and watch your business crumble.

I bought three caps this past winter and the owner made every attempt to not let me return my two caps within a week. He gave me some lecture twice on two different incidents in front of my 5 year old son. Even the reciept says if you're unsatisfied with their product within thirty days you can return it . He went on on saying I don't have my second receipt and the next attempt he gave me a 20 minute excuse saying " he had the power to ban customers, to get security to tresspasass people, that he is a business man how is he gonna make money accepting returns,that he don't have to stand behind what the receipt says ,that he is not a Walmart or Salvation Army ." Please support your other local lids. Made me come back with my 5 year old son twice until my girlfriend tried to return the items and he kept one of the lids accepted one return. And even had to nerve to say he saw me wear the hat and I tried to clean it and how I'd like to wear hats the have been worn. Very unprofessional and bragged about his hat game that nobody has more hats than him . Nobody should ever be treated like this or even be in charge of a business like him.

Worst customer experience ever. We were making a farewell hat for an Army Soldier who's leaving the unit. We paid for the hat, bought the embroidery, and were told to return in a bit. Upon our return he informed us he googled the name (creepy move but ok) and found out Tupperware is a trademarked company (that's not even the name of the Soldier???) so unless we could pull up our personal Facebook and show him the guy he won't do it. So then we go through the painful process of trying to do a partial refund of the embroidery but not the hat and ended up wasting more time. Congratulations Lids; your commitment to being on your phones at work and googling peoples personal information has cost a Solider a farewell gift. But hey, your future in trademark law is looking good
