This bank is a complete joke. Different "rules" every time you go in -- this time you need your bank card to pay your loan, last time your ID sufficed. OK to pay your mortgage loan over the phone from your bank account for 6 months in a row and then the 7th month, all of a sudden "We have never taken over-the-phone payments." Plus, they encouraged me to set up a checking account, I made a $500 deposit, and then they instead applied that to my mortgage loan, which was already up-to-date and current! Super incompetent. Don't let the name fool you into thinking they are Alaska-oriented and better than national banks. If you're thinking of banking with them, RUN!

As friendly and helpful as their in-bank staff are, the online banking is absolute garbage. Finding your own account number WHILE LOGGED IN is difficult, if not impossible, transferring funds between your business accounts requires additional and special set up, labeling multiple business accounts is not allowed.Everything that the rest of the world has come to expect since the days of AOL, Northrim seems to only now be learning. If you are a business owner and want to be able to control your accounts online (what a novel concept!), Northrim is not the bank for you.

Good banking experience here! I’ve been slowly moving my accounts from First National Bank Alaska to Northrim because the level of service is so much better! Employees actually seem like they enjoy their jobs, because they are much friendlier than FNBA.

Today assistant bank manager Katreena Little helped me file my covid-19 emergency loan application. She then wrote me an email at 9pm To offer more even more help. Will your bank work till 9pm at night to help fight to you save your small business?? The best customer service of any business in Alaska as far as im concerned.

After having an awful experience at the Wasilla Northrim Bank, I stopped in here to speak to someone about some issues with a hold on a bank issued cashiers check. Chris, the store manager, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding the issue and the process needed to resolve it. Katreena, the assistant manager, was extremely friendly and helped me with everything I needed. The team at the branch worked very hard to resolve the unnecessary issues so that I could continue with my business as needed.

Northrim staff at the Anchorage Old Seward branch are friendly and helpful. They take the initiative to recognize their customers and provide beyond the required service to call patrons by name. We bank w/Northrim for both business and personal needs.

I love all the hard working people I meet at this bank and it is the only reason I am still at this bank. Corporate is full of idiots. They change their phone and internet banking system every few years and they choose vendors that no one else uses. You can not even change your password on the phone app with this system and it locks you out occasionally even if you have not used it for a while. I have a company id number, a user number, a passcode, and a vrc number. all 4 of these numbers they think i should have memorized when I contact them. not to mention my account numbers. I use 6 other banking systems. matvalley fcu, denali fcu, wells fargo, capitol one, bank of america, and citi bank. Only this one bank has this ridiculous system. I would just be laughing at this if I was not being drug through it regularly.
