Update after another tour with a campervan from Northwest Van Campers. After having had good experiences with Northwest Van Campers in 2017, these were also confirmed under the new owners, Jeremiah and Adriel. Very nice contact with the two and uncomplicated handling, also from Germany. We hope to be able to travel to Alaska again and would book with Jeremiah and Adriel again!

We travelled 3 weeks with the Northwest Camper Van through Alaska and Yukon. We spent a great holiday and were very satisfied with the camper and its facilities. At a next tour, we would again rely on Northwest Van Camper.
Before the trip, we had email contact with Gary and our questions were quickly and competently answered.

Northwest Van Campers LLC is awesome. I live in AK but my family is from the lower 48. We travelled to Dawson City Canada, McCarthy AK, and the Denali Highway. My family had a great Alaskan experience; lots of miles on dirt road, mountain passes, and typical AK highway frost heaves and these vans performed perfectly. The customer service was equally awesome. I would recommend Northwest Van Campers to anyone looking for a similar unique AK adventure.

Wonderful experience. The pick up and drop off was easy and we had everything we needed. We loved having a dry place to sleep while we enjoyed the great Alaska outdoors.

We had a great experience with Northwest Van Campers, LLC. Jeremiah was very helpful with any questions we had prior to our arrival. The van worked out great! We had everything we needed for a fabulous 2 weeks exploring Alaska. No frills, just the basics. We slept well as the bed was very comfortable. We would highly recommend Northwest Van Campers!

Jeremiah was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Prompt and thoughtful in our communications. Was incredibly thorough in making sure we had everything we needed. Also, when we picked up the van, he provided an extensive overview on how everything worked. Was accessible throughout our journey of nearly 2000 miles around Alaska. Made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend him to anyone considering a camper van for seeing Alaska. He should be your first and last Google search.

Northwest van campers was the best way to see Alaska if your trip includes multiple locations. For us it was perfect we were never rushed to be anywhere by a specific time. We found staying in the State recreational sites to be the best. Stay away from KOA in Seward it would have been like sleeping in a parking lot no privacy and walking to bath in the middle of the night across the state. We Canceled they kept the money. Many great places to just pull into with the Van much better. The van has what you need to get started very basic but extremely simply and easy. It took us a day to get organized with suitcases had to move them one place by day and another place by night but we did it. Had to be cautious of mosquitoes not getting inside the Van while cooking. Just make sure you have a thermacell and find places with less activity. All in all we had the best time and working with Jeremiah was a great experience and Northwest Van Camper is the way most definitely to travel and camp throughout Alaska. I strongly recommend the company when in Alaska

My husband and I spent two weeks in one of the Northwest Camper Vans. It was an awesome experience! We saw a large part of Alaska - Anchorage, Telkeetna, Denali, Fairbanks, Palmer, Valdez, Seward, etc. We were comfortable and had everything we needed in the camper van. Jeremiah was exceptional - honest and helpful before, during and after our trip. We highly recommended seeing Alaska in a camper van from Northwest Camper Vans LLC.

The best way to travel Alaska. Drives around/parks like a car, sleeps like an RV, no hassle with tents or setting up camp. Rest whenever/wherever you feel like it. Jeremiah runs a great business. He's very helpful and on top of things. The van ran flawlessly and the comfort/convenience took all the stress out of travelling. We could focus on taking in all of the wonderful attributes of this awesome state!

June 2019 - These camper vans are a great way to explore Alaska! Small enough to maneuver on narrow roads and fit into a regular parking space, but with plenty of space inside to carry all your gear and sleep two adults. The bed is very comfortable and there's a camping stove with pots, pans, plates and utensils in the back, even a tarp to cover you in case it rains while you're cooking. There's no shower, but we stopped at various campgrounds with showers. We like the convenience of being able to stop anywhere to eat & sleep.Jeremiah is very easy to work with and was very accommodating when we missed our flight out and didn't make it in until the next day! Make sure you book early because his summer season fills up quickly.----------------------August 2021 - We went back to Alaska, and rented the van again from Jeremiah. We had some rainy days and it was great to have the flexibility to change our itinerary based on where it's not raining because we didn't have lodging reservations.

Vans are extremely clean and in GREAT condition. The owner, Jeremiah, he's a nice guy and very down to earth. Definitely recommend doing business with him.

Great experience! Jeremiah was so helpful and friendly and the van was exactly what we needed. It had window shades and almost everything we needed for cooking. The price was also unbeatable! Would definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I wanted to say a huge thank you to Jeremiah and Northwest Van Campers for making our camping trip to Alaska so enjoyable.First and foremost, Jeremiah was incredibly pleasant to deal with. He was courteous, responsive, helpful and easy to deal with throughout our entire communication. I will do business with him in a heartbeat again!The van itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I have to especially point out the very comfortable bed with memory foam maters, fluffy blanket and good quality linens. Every evening, I was looking forward to snuggling into ‘the nest’ as I called it and getting lots of much needed rest.The kitchenette also had everything we needed: 2 portable stoves, cooking pots, utensils, coffee pot, and even kitchen towels.There was never a time that we needed something and didn’t have it - and cooking is our passion and we were cooking a lot.There were also camping chairs for us to enjoy and towels, tarp for rainy weather and even a can of bear spray - everything was though-through and provided. And all of it was pretty good quality.We were also able to rent backpacks, sleeping bags and other camping EQ from Jeremiah which saved us space in the luggage on the way over.The van was well-maintained: tires had good threads, breaks were working well, etc, and it was fairly easy to drive. We got caught in a big storm in a middle of mountains, and the truck handled well on a winding wet road.All and all we were happy with everything and would definitely call Northwest Van Campers on our next Alaska adventure, which I’m pretty sure will be as soon as next year.

We had the best time on our honeymoon in Alaska and Northwest Van Campers made it so much more fun and enjoyable. Jeremiah and Adriel were so nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make everything super easy for us, and the van itself was fantastic. Jeremiah thought of every little detail when designing these vans. We’ve rented camper vans before, but nothing like this. It had everything you could ever need, and there was so much extra space that we never felt cramped. The rain cover off the back of the van is absolutely genius. If you’re going to rent a camper van in Alaska, I wouldn’t go with anyone else!

As Alaskans we were looking for a personal local business and owners who are experienced with remote camping in Alaska. Northwest Van Campers are top notch in providing personal customer service and a wealth of information on campsites and hiking trails.We had an amazing experience in our camper van as we camped/hiked our way through Denali State Park and Denali National Park. One newly built campsite in the state park is the Ksugi Campground and hiking trail on Curry Ridge.The camper van was perfect for the two of us and our hiking gear. We enjoyed the cozy bed and not having to disassemble it every morning. The back-end kitchen was easy access and fully equipped for our needs. Jeremiah has added a fully equipped sound system and the electric outlet to recharge our electronics was ideal.We already miss our "home away from home" camper van and the adventure it took us on.

A friend came to visit from out of town and we took a van through Cooper Landing down to Homer. Fantastic experience! The van was outfitted with everything we needed for a cozy weekend, including cookware, mesh netting for the windows and an extremely comfortable bed! Jeremiah and Ariel were super accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The plain white van ensures you blend in with the locals, and it's fun to read the guestbook entries from other travelers' adventures! The best way to see Alaska is by camper van! :):)
