Got here at 7:30, it's now 8:04 with no sign of being seen. This is pathetic. There are 4 other people in the waiting room and none of them have been called back yet either.

Was a little hesitant due to the other lower reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! I had an appointment at 3pm and was OUT of the office before that time! I arrived early, they took me back early, and were quick and efficient, yet friendly. I was there for employee health services and felt everything was completed seamlessly.

I had an appointment and it took them 50 minutes before I was called back. Then they couldn’t find my blood draw paperwork (which I fasted for), so now I have to rebook my doctor appointments plus this blood draw. What a waste of time.

Happy I had April. She was nice and made getting my blood drawn less stressful. Easy check-in process and overall great experience.

Excellent service. We are from out of town and the orders for the tests we needed done weren’t there. The girl at the desk was able to walk us through the process so we could still get what was needed done!

Impossible to get anyone on the phone. When I finally got an extension to work, the mailbox was full. Had to physically drive to their location to ask a simple question about my appointment. A joke.

It’s okay. Bring your orders with you printed out. Do not fax it as their fax machine either doesn’t work or they don’t check it. Also, they won’t take it in electronic format. Why? No idea. Most things these days are done using electronic means like email or fax machines but they don’t have a receptionist. So, print the order out and have it with you as you will be happier when you get there. Also, they complain about your service so I personally just ignore it. It’s really not my problem that my order is STAT and you don’t like that. I came early and you have most of the day to take care of it so figure it out. Don’t have big expectations. Just try to get in and out as fast as you can. To do that make an appointment before hand and do not be late for it.

Tamara was amazing! I don’t say that lightly either, this was one of the best blood draws I’ve had in years. I hate needles, and I always feel it. The last time was the worst experience ever (somewhere else) so I was coming in nervous and clammy hands. She just chatted me up naturally, and kept me occupied so I wasn’t so focused on the draw. I hope Quest knows what valuable person they have working for them. Thank you Tamara!!

I’ve been having to use Quest for over a year now because of specified labs that Labcorp doesn’t offer. It is always a negative situation and poor results. The phlebotomists constantly complain about how long my lab orders are directly to me, then to the other phlebotomists in the other room loudly enough that I can hear them. I understand my labs are difficult and are often more than one page, and they do not want to have to deal with someone who has an autoimmune order that require these types of labs. I understand the exasperation and heavy sighs when they cannot just stick me one time and get a proper flow of blood, and I express right away that I’m a difficult stick. It’s not my favorite place to be either. With an appointment, I usually wait. Which is okay, because I understand short staffing. I, like many people, work in healthcare in a technician roll. I understand the stress, the short staffing and the demand to get everything completed. But the phlebotomists will always tell you how terrible it is to be there, how they do not make enough money and how short staffed the business is and cannot wait to be done with you so they go home. I have gone at different times of day and on different days of the week. On top of this, I’ve gone now 3 times where their computers are not functioning and cannot print tags is what I have gathered from the phone conversations they’re having with a manager and with each other and they cannot be bothered to “tag and bag” each tube so I, as a patient who scheduled an appointment for labs that are extremely important to my care and diagnosis and upcoming appointments, am cancelled on. Because their label printer will not print. And I get told “well have a good day. Now I have to go teach her how to do her job.”I expressed “so I take it I have to reschedule, again, this has happened to me the last two times” to which the phlebotomist denied and stated how she is always there. She has been one to turn me away before. It is extremely frustrating. I would drive 2 to 3 hours not to have to deal with this. But unfortunately, this is my only option. Also, the Quest in our hospitals will not draw particular orders because they are “too big” in regards to the above situation. They could have advised me that they would not take me because my order was “giant and will take forever” and told me their computers were down instead of telling me to drive from Alaska Regional to midtown to wait for my appointment, to sit in the back for 30 minutes to then be canceled on. This place is a nightmare. Do not go here if you have a choice to go elsewhere.

Friendly staff, hardly felt the needle for the blood draw. Everything was explained well. The appointment was easy to make and check-in was even easier.

If I could rate them below one star I absolutely would. I have never had a less professional medical experience in all my life. I took my young adult son in a little over a week ago. He was not feeling well and fainted the last time he had his blood drawn there so I went as a precaution. I explain this because….The door opens, my son’s name is called, the woman sees me stand up and walk toward her with my son and she loudly starts teasing him for bringing his mom. Sounding like a junior high girl taunting another child, she said, “Ohhh…. You brought your mommy? You need to have your mommy hold your hand? Come on mommy, hold his hand. No really, hold your mommy’s hand.” She seriously went on and on. I was flabbergasted but at the same time we had been waiting to get in and needed this blood work and I didn’t want to make it worse when she is about to put a needle in my son’s arm. Deep breath…. You get the idea. Apparently this particular woman usually works in the valley, she told us that between snarky comments. Even when as we were leaving, in the most bratty tone she said, “Bye Mommy.” I was seething on the inside, disgusted by the lack of professionalism and the treatment of a patient. I will never go back, my family will never go back, my close friends will never go back. I normally go to Prov but he had gone to Quest once and although it went badly before he thought he would be fine this time. Wrong. Go to Providence people! Go anywhere but here.

Will not answer the phone. Called 8 time in two days. Lobby is pathetic, touch screen only to let them know you have arrived, for visual impaired the touchscreen scrolls to swipe for help. How can u see the message if you are visually impaired.

The good part is that the technicians are good at the blood draws. Also, the results are available in a reasonable length of time. Patients should bring their doctor's orders, although, for me, mine have always been sitting on their fax machine. But it seems like somebody should have them in some type of filing system or data base. This time, I made my appointment online as usual and I checked in at the kiosk. Unfortunately, on this visit, I had a 30 minute wait, longer than I have had before. The other problem was that the tech did not give my my take-home test. I should have thought of it, but I didn't. Of course you can't E-mail, text or call them because they don't have such things, so I guess I'll hang out at the office until they call for someone and I'll interrupt to request my take-home test. Too bad it will put them behind.

Let me first state: I am a medical provider. I understand billing and insurance well. Now… they billed my insurance out of network. I am in network with insurance which is something I checked on prior to coming here. They stated that my provider is out of state so they could bill out of network. The difference between billing in network and out of network is $1800. They make you give them a credit card up front so they can charge the card once the “EOB” comes back and a bill is generated. $100 for labs… or $1900. It’s not surprising they would attempt to get the $1900.Luckily, I caught this asap and called my insurance. My insurance contacted the billing department and informed them that it is to be billed in network and a provider being out of state has no bearing on in network or out of network, rather it is the location of the person and where they went to get the blood drawn. They also did not bill my ICD10 codes correctly and sent in 3 separate bills, splitting the ICD10 codes between them instead of sending one bill with all of them present which would help with reimbursement.I will be contacting AK State Attorney General regarding this as I do believe that they need an audit on their billing practices for fraudulent transactions. This is not even just about the billing woes. My provider couldn’t even get results in a timely manner and when I went into the location, they had no one at the front desk and they were less than helpful.I will not return. I will also not send any patients of mine here.

Same day over the phone appointments , not so easy to navigate the phone system, but overall it was a pleasant visit. Must arrive 10 minutes prior to appointment to be seen on time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
