Do not put your life in danger staying at this inn. Very sketchy people lurking around, building doesn't stay locked at night. There's a space in-between my door and the frame and you can see in and out of the room. Dresser is missing bottom of the drawers, exposed wires and wall plugs. Giants cracks in ceilings and walls. Exposed broken glass on entry doors. Shared bathrooms and showers that do not get cleaned. EXTREMELY DIRTY beds and sheets. Mattress is outdated and covered in nasty stains and holes. Entire building smells terrible and there is flies and little gnats all throughout the building. Constant noise and people doing weird things outside of my window at 2am. No one at the front desk when you want to check in, and a sign that reads be right back, call this number for assistance and then the number is to the business phone sitting right in front of me This place was a disaster and I was only stressed and feared for my life my entire stay. Do not stay here unless you want to get robbed or k!lled

Be very careful about booking here. Upon learning the location we called to cancel our room, and we were told that our credit card would be refunded in full, minus a $30.00 service fee. When we returned from vacation and checked the credit card bill, they had charged us for both nights, PLUS the $30.00 service fee. It's akin to fraud, and I am trying to fight it through my credit card company.

What you get is a Bed, TV,, bathroom, a sink. One towel, no hand towel or a floor mat. You can have a free coffee in the office. The top floor above the guest rooms is very noisy people are moving around all night. There is no working AC and the windowi is nailed shot so there is no air flow. The place is cheaper than other ones in town though.

Where to start.. the rooms were pretty dirty although they were adequate size and sufficiency. There was nothing comfortable about the bed as it was a thin mattress on top of a piece of plywood. The biggest complaint or issue we had was it once we were in and finally able to get to sleep we had scheduled meeting in the morning to continue our trip. No one was in the office to be able to help us get out of the door that was now not working and would not open. We try to escaping from the window that normally you would think would be an egress window.. there was no way to get out the window finally after several calls to the desk and the emergency service number provided we wound up calling the fire department to come get us out. They did so and they were quite professional and did an awesome job of minimizing damage to the property. We stayed at a different Hotel the following night regardless of the cost difference the safety cleanliness and overall experience was worth the additional cost. Can you imagine being locked in your room in the event of a fire. The hotel was somewhat run down hodgepodge put together just not a safe experience. If you're concerned about saving money there's got to be a better way to do it than risking your life staying at this service neglected Hotel.

This is a quaint little place that definitely has that Alaskan feel to it. They have rooms to fit any budget, from tiny cupboard sized spaces that have shared bathrooms all the way up to queen bed private rooms that have a private bathroom. I would like to say the craftsmanship of the olace is a wonder to see!

I would stay here again! will try to go into as much detail as possible so this may be a long read.Shared bathrooms: I was a solo female traveler who booked a room with a shared bathroom. This was not a big issue, I would just say to remember to bring flip flops. The floor would be wet from others taking showers. They do provide shampoo and body wash in the pump containers. If you want conditioner then bring your own.The room: I was surprised at how large the room was. The bed was very comfortable and provided with 2 pillows, a sheet, blanket, and small coverlet. As this was summer, it was a little warm some nights but not too bad. I would recommend you buy a small fan if you get hot sleeping. The floor did have a slight sticky feel but I would say this is more because of the hardwood floors and not from being dirty. The room was very clean. I do recommend that you bring earplugs as there is a busy road right next to the hotel which did not seem to slow down even late at night. The curtains also do not fully cover the light coming in so I brought an eye mask. The hotel also provided me with 2 large towels and 1 smaller towel in the room. There were 2 showers on the top floor. One of the bathrooms was a full bathroom, the other one was just the shower. Note, the one with just a shower did not have hot water so I just used the full bathroom to shower. Was not an issue, it was always free when I needed it.Kitchen: There is a shared kitchen which does have 2 microwaves, a full sized fridge, stove, and sink. They do provide pots, pans, dishes, soap, and spices. You are not allowed to take any of the dishes up to your room. So if you want to eat your food in your room then you should buy some disposable paper plates/utensils which are cheap. They do have paper and Styrofoam cups available for drinks. I stored some leftovers in the fridge and had no issues.Location: I really enjoyed how there were bus stops nearby. I took busses to/from the airport and to/from downtown. You are quite a bit away from downtown so I would not recommend walking downtown. The busses are easy to follow the routes, and were mostly on time. The busses are $2 a trip or $5 for the day. There is also a Walmart and another grocery store within walking distance. Note, they only give paper bags here so I would recommend bringing a grocery tote for easier transport of any purchases. I will say it did seem to be a more rough area because I would randomly hear loud yelling down the street, and in the parking lot next door there appeared to be a gentleman living in his car. I never felt unsafe and nobody ever bothered me when I was walking around. It was a very walkable area with sidewalks. There is a very good Thai food place right around the corner, in addition to several restaurants across the street and close by.Overall, for the price this was a very good value and I would stay here again. Especially when considering that the larger/nicer hotels were at least 2x the price of here.

Everything was good for the price except I'm not happy about paying and no hot water the whole time. I won't some of my monies back. And yes I will go back but hope with hot water.

Nice location, good Price and super friendly Customer Service. Bed was comfortable and room smelled nice . Everything was really clean. Definitely would come back on my travelsRooms: Descent size. Good bed, quiet and with warm water and a nice fan and during and small heater (crazy powerful too) if you need it. The Faucet is outside the bathroom for some reason but everything else really nice. Bathroom is quite spacious too

It was clean and the staff was nice. Darker curtains are needed because of the light and we would have liked less noise from the outside road. Bring eye masks and heavy duty earplugs. Good value overall! It was very unique and had a home type feeling ☺️

The owner needs to do something with this "Jenn" manager that is disrespectful with guests AND employees several times a day. Bad attitude, has been here way too long. There are many good things about this place but this bad manager hides them all.

Although there were "new" sheets on the bed; they had not been laundered. I took them into the office where the manager did launder them and remade the bed. No amenities; microwave, coffee maker(Although you can get coffee in the office sometimes), very poor pillows, no blanket on the bed, just a comforter. I purchased bathroom cleaner and cleaning cloths. I used 3 of the cloths to fill the gap under the door to prevent the cold air from coming in.Noisy all around. Parking is difficult. You need a Netflix account to watch television because there is no cable; Roku if you can get connected to the internet. No laundry available for guests. No plastic wrapped cups in the room.Bathroom floor tile is broken, No bath mat but a rug that I don't know if it has been changed after each rental.I definitely should have researched this more. The room does have a small refrigerator, a 2 drawer dresser, a desk and chair.Rooms: Minimal; no cups, clock, coffeemaker, or television. Roku if the internet stayed connected.Safety: A woman was yelling and using foul language, slamming doors and throwing things. The next incident was a woman screaming at 2 o'clock in the morning.

Initial review was taken down this place took my money after having arrived in the morning around 8 am. Waited fifteen minutes until I decided to book elsewhere. Though, “filled their obligation by having some security guard? In the back of the building? Who I should’ve let know I was there. They decided not to reimburse me. Please take your business elsewhere

This place is great value and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Imo a great Alaskan experience opposed to an overpriced chain you can get anywhere else. Definitely stay here.
