Sharnee is amazing and absolutely one of my favorite lenders to work with! As a Realtor, I so appreciate Sharnee's hard work ethic and availability. She is available outside of normal working hours, which has enabled my clients to write offers on houses in a fast paced market. She is a wealth of knowledge in the lending world and is one of my first calls when I have a mortgage question. Her positive attitude and listening ear all speak to the caring heart she has for her clients. They aren't just clients to her, but people she truly cares about! She also has years of experience she brings with her to the job and I know I can depend on her to get the job done!

We worked with Mark Gust at Residential Mortgage and he was a delight to work with. Questions were answered very quickly and he was always happy to help with anything we needed. Mark streamlined our process and made our first time home buying a breeze. Would 10/10 recommend Mark as your loan officer. Thank you Mark!

I can't say enough how grateful we are for Residential Mortgage, and more specifically Mark Gust, who made it possible for my husband and I to purchase our home recently. The search for a house was long with many ups and downs but Mark was there from start to finish, making sure we had any/all info that we needed for the process. This held true right up to signing day when something unexpected came up and he had to light a "fire" to get it squared away so we could go to closing as scheduled.Thank you so much!

My personal experience was not good. I was locked in with a mortgage rate only to have it changed at the last minute. Very unethical..The people are nice but, nice doesn't pay the extra money I have to pay in interest now. You've been warned.

We closed a loan as sellers in April, with Residential as the lender for the buyers. They came up with an unusual request for work to be done on the foundation, which we agreed to cover. The estimate was &7,000, they withheld $13,900. The work was completed at the end of July for $6,880. We are still waiting to get the overage. They're saying the buyer may not be satisfied, and they need the appraiser to OK the work. We are not responsible for anything except paying for the job, which we did.

Northrim executives Joey Scheerhorny, Mikey Martin, Mikey Huston, and Benny Craig got a great deal on their personal mortgage with WellsFargo. They want you to get a mortgage with Northrim Bank so they get their yearly $100k bonus. Most of them used their huge year end bonus on top of their $400k/plus salary to pay off their mansions on Hillside, Campbell Lake, and Potter Marsh. When getting a mortgage inquire about Joey Sheerhorny's $217,346 -2020 year end bonus for a total $942,253 -2020 year compensation and Mikey Huston out of state hiring $50k bonus. Large percentage of your mortgage payment is to give these greedy bank executives a yearly $600k bonus on top of their $400k yearly salary while their tellers making $13/hr poverty wage

Northrim Bank has a credibility issue. Benjamin D Craig, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of the Bank, whose 2020 total compensation was $414,844 claims on his resume that from Dec 1995 to Feb 2000 during his service in the United States Air Force was a Computer and Communications System Manager while achieving his highest enlisted rank of E4-Senior Airman. This is impossible! Benjamin D Craig doesn't meet the minimum Time In Service, (TIS), for the United States Air Force Computer and Communications System Manager position. It takes at least 14 years to meet the requirements of attending the NCO academy, Senior Nco Academy, and acquiring a 9 skill level. This can't be done in 4 years! More than likely Benjamin D Craig only received a 5 level skill level. On average, it takes a United States enlisted airman 21.5 years to achieve meeting all the requirements to become a Computer and Communications System Manager and you have to be at least a E8-Senior Master Sergent rank. Benjamin D Craig only has a 2 year associate degree in Business Administration. Ironic that Benjamin D Craig is a guest speaker at University of Alaska Anchorage and brags to students about getting a $40k/yr job with Northrim IT Department when he doesn't have a Computer Science Degree. United States Air Force Computer and Communications System Manager minimum requirements can be found under this link on page 13 under superintendent.

Changing my rating from 1 star to 3 after speaking with the lender about some things. Overall, I probably wouldn’t choose RM again. Our lender’s team lacked communication (despite the busy time for loans) and created situations that could have easily been prevented.I understand workplace stress which is why I’m changing my rating. I also believe our financial situation was slightly more complex than most, causing a few extra bumps along the way.

I cannot speak highly enough in recommending Josh Good of Residential Mortgage. As a first time homebuyer I came to the table chock full of questions. I generally suffer from analysis paralysis but after talking to a few lenders there was no question as to who I wanted to do business with; Josh Good from Residential Mortgage. From our first conversation onward I knew I was in good hands. Josh took the time and put forth the effort to answer all of my questions and there were many of them. The loan program I had sought after required both myself and the lender to jump through more hoops than is standard; Josh went above and beyond to ensure that I got the best loan terms possible and I have no doubt he would do the same for any of his clients.

They were very friendly and helpful. Cecilia Jarvis made her schedule very flexible. Especially during this whole pandemic going on. She got back to us promptly with any questions and concerns we had. She worked very hard to get us approved and keep us informed on the whole process. Which was very tricky, due to everything going on in the world right now. She was very knowledgeable of different areas or was always willing to research and let us know what she found. She also made us feel at ease having her in our corner. Thanks a bunch Cecilia.

Let me start with we will never use residential again. I will never recommend them and if anyone asks I will strongly urge them to choose any other lender out there. This entire process was extremely stressful from the get go. All in all it took almost 5 months to close. Bill Foster was so awful at communicating with us to the point where I had to email/call him daily for any sort of update. I also had to call the appraiser myself because Bill didn’t schedule the follow up. He would request information we would gather and return it to him with in 2 days and then not hear from him for a week only to check back in and find out he never even opened it. The only reason we finished the transaction with residential is because our seller threatened to pull out of the sale because it had taken so long. We literally had to either stay with this company or be homeless. Not only did Bill put our file on the back burner he didn’t do the researched needed to ensure we got the correct loan. After months of back and forth and then finally being in final underwriting we found out that we could not use the loan type we had chosen and talked about with Bill in depth. We then had to work with his manager Colleen who honestly seemed frustrated with the situation. Which I understand but being a first time home buyer seemed short and just low on patience, nor did she really want to hear my complaints about Bill. However I felt like she was willing to answer my questions since I think she understood that Bill did not explain anything to us and got our loan re-written and closed in 2 days. So she accomplished what Bill Foster couldn’t do in nearly 5 months. The thought of buying another house makes me sick because of how awful we were treated.
