This company really came through for us. We had a last minute need for a moving company and we received a quote for their services that also included the price for having our items shipped with AML. They were up front about all the charges and we were able to book them for the day we needed. We ended up not needing to use their services and they were very professional about our cancellation. I would highly recommend them as they do their best to accommodate your schedule and their pricing was very reasonable. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and helpful. If we need to use a moving service in the future, I'll definitely be calling them again and recommending them to others.

Brad and his team of professionals performed to the highest caliber that can be expected! Our move was from Wasilla, Alaska to Houston, Texas, household items and one vehicle. They gave me an accurate ETA and kept me updated throughout the move. We shipped two pickup trucks to Tacoma, Washington and made a 6 day drive to Houston. Timing was absoutely perfect, got into a temporary rental and two days later our stuff arrived. The crews on both ends were awesome, very enjoyable working with them. Of course, most folks have anxieties about damage and lost items no matter who performs the move. Not a single item was damaged and everything was accounted for. Big shout out to Royal Alaska Movers, you guys are true professionals! And that Brad Chapman fella is a real scholar and gentleman! Can’t end this review without mentioning Chase Chapman, a big thank you for all you did for us! All the best to entire staff.

We moved from Anchorage Alaska to Indiana the move was wonderful everything got to Indiana in one piece this company was wonderful to work with the price was right I would recommend them to anyone.

We used Royal Alaskan Movers to bring our belongings from a shipping container to our home in the foothills above Anchorage. They sent a great crew who worked a long day getting everything unloaded, boxes and furniture in the right rooms, and they assembled multiple furniture items.I can't thank this company enough! Everyone was great to work with, from the people in the office who helped with set up, to the crew who did the heavy lifting. Five stars, I will definitely be using them again for my future moving needs!

We've had movers 5 times. This was not even close to the least professional of those. I know things happen moving but this was a lot of easily preventable things like dragging a mattress on pavement when the box was broken so the actual mattress is black on 2 sides. That's not something insurance covers or can do anything about. That's just one of a dozen similar examples. As well as complaining about taking some boxes to the second floor of the shop. That's where they go and we paid the full move price. There's more but that's enough. We'll pay for containers next time.

I worked with Royal Alaskan Movers over a period of time to receive a quote to move from Alaska to the lower 48. after a couple of quotes, I had several repeated questions to verify what was included in crating, how they shipped and clarification on the insurance in several emails and phone messages because I did not want huge surprise charges after the fact, but my questions kept getting ignored. I finally got through to Diana and she loosely answered some on the phone but when I asked her to please put it in the written quote I never heard from her again. Later I reached the owner and the smae thing happened. Since I asked to have it in writing they completely ghosted me and would not reply to my emails or phone calls. HUGE RED FLAG!!

I'm military and the 3 guys that moved my stuff kept asking for my stuff. I guess I said "no" so many times they stole my watches and other valuables.

My husband and I recently moved to Alaska for the Military. This is our 4th move and our 3rd time shipping household goods. Royal Alaskan Movers has by far been the most professional, courteous, and hardworking movers we have ever experienced. Although, the receptionist during the month of July 2023 was extremely unhelpful, rude, and believed she knew everything, our experience was still great. Once we were put into contact with Frank we were squared away. The movers turned around the whole experience. Nio, Pete, James, and Kone were a fantastic team that worked quickly, showed up on time, and took care of our household goods as if they were their own. They definitely deserve a raise! Workers like these are what sets Royal Alaskan Movers apart!

This company should not be moving people. Their work is sloppy and their attitude about securing people's belongings is even worse. I watched them working and they played with the items in the house. Their approach to moving you well was well if it gets damaged they can just file a claim and that was the lead person. If you want your items moved competently it's a strong pass on this company. When the items arrived on site to their destination, there was broken furniture, a lot of water damage, and the boxes we're not labeled and looked as if they had been gone through. A lot of items were missing in different categories. Horrible mover

They were my movers bc they were the cheapest bid for the military contract. It’s been two months and they haven’t uploaded the reweigh tickets so I can be paid for my personal move weight.They also damaged my balcony pulling my heavy couch up over it and thought I didn’t see it. I was recording the whole thing bc I thought they’d drop the couch. Couch was fine, balcony not. Afterwards the covered it with heavy packing paper. Luckily a QC tech stopped in randomly and I let them know about it and I heard the convo where they tried to act like they didn’t know they did it as if it was covered the whole time ?. They said they’d fix it instead of having to pay for my property management do it. They didn’t get back to me for a month, and now are taking over a week for such a simple fix.They were also supposed to take the boxes when I unpacked but when I called they said they don’t do that when it is clearly part of their contract. I’ve had to slowly get rid of the boxes myself and still only have half of them gone.All of this from their end is holding up me getting paid for my personal move weight as well as the claims put in for all the broken and missing items.Such bad management, if they would have sent enough people it could have been done without damages.10/10 do not recommend.

They are not responsive at all. Weird because they will waste your time conducting an over the phone inventory of items but never provide estimates. This happened twice.
