My wife & I went to Salon Services and were pleasantly surprised on how clean and organized the products were. The assistants were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Good to see a variety of products available. Will definitely come back

Defiantly returning to this location, walked in , in need of a new shampoo for my sensitive scalp the manager Hannah suggested shampoo from kevin murphy and it smells great and works great to. Thank you Hannah I’m coming to you from now on !

I am a professional in the cosmetology industry and have been for 5+ years. I was excited for the opening of Salon Services Pro here in Alaska to offer more options for professionals. In September after receiving the dividend, I purchased a Babe Extension Deluxe Starter Kit from Salon Services..or so I thought. Almost a month later I received a call from the store stating that their new employee had accidentally CREDITED my bank account instead of charge the sum of $500 + for the package. So not only was I now down the $500+ for the kit but a total of $1000+ for their mistake. I was more than willing to set up a date to make the payment for the amount of the kit I purchased as I have had the product for more than a month at this point and understood their concern. At this initial conversation as well as the next 3(they continued to call me to harass me about the payment although I had agreed to a payment date already) I was told that they would not be charging me the cost of the CREDIT as it was their mistake. Today I happily called to make the payment and had no issues until after I paid… now the lady on the phone tells me that they need to know when I will be making the payment for the rest of the amount.. I continued to tell her that I was told on multiple occasions this was going to be covered by the business as it was no fault of my own. She told me that accounting had considered and said they couldn’t do that. This is the first time I’m hearing this after 3+ calls with their manager/representatives. At that point I let the representative know that I will just be returning the kit as this has been a lot of stress and financial burden on me and my family for no fault of my own. The representative then tried to tell me that I cannot return the kit if anything is opened… I am just floored by this whole experience and I can say I will not be working with this business in the future if I can help it (limited resources in Alaska). I have friends in the industry who have had similar negative experiences.. I am no longer excited to begin the journey with babe extensions and the entire experience just put a bad taste in my mouth.
