A total goat rope of a operation. Avoid at all costs. Their gas pumps will not give you a receipt and refer you inside- when the store is closed you are out of luck. Try calling for help when they are open-the phone number on their website doesn’t work. Haven’t eaten their food but the appearance of their sanitation procedures looks a bit to be desired. Avoid this place at all costs

Convenient, call for pick up, food is done at the right time. The steak burrito is ok, I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5, the burgers better than the burrito though.

CASH DISCOUNTFRED MEYER DISCOUNTSOne of the best maintained stations by far. The owners are amazing and deterred me from their food which is basically a fat girl drug.EXCELLENT location right across from my salon and literally the hub of South Anchorage, Dimond and Old Seward Hwy. Close to everything good.

Super sad face. This is no longer an A&W. They still have a grill here and you can get breakfast sandwiches too. But all the things that made it great are gone and all the shitty aspects remain.

A@W is no longer. On top of making the best breakfast burritos in Anchorage, they will be serving burgers among other things. If the burgers are as good as the burritos, I'll be hooked!!!!

Best breakfast burritos I have ever had anywhere hands down. The side sauce they give you with your burrito is perfect. If you haven't been here yet and your a fan of breakfast burritos your missing out on your new favorite spot!!!

I came down here a few days ago to pick up a burger and fries at the A&W as well as filling the car up with gasoline on the way home. This Shell gas station is in one of the busiest intersections in town at the corner of Old Seward Highway and Dimond Blvd. Entering from either street is relatively easy, but getting out is the hard part since the exits are right next to the traffic lights and can be a bit of a wait during rush hour. The employees here are always friendly and helpful whether you're at the drive-thru or inside the store. I ordered the Double Papa Burger with fries and an iced tea as I pulled up to the drive-thru. The wait was only a few short minutes before my order came to the window. The burger was okay, not the best but certainly not bad either. The patties could've used some seasoning, but the cheese slices were a good complement. However, the fries were piping hot out of the fryer with a crispy texture and just the right amount of salt added. This was not the main reason for writing this update. As I pulled away from the drive-thru window, a sign at the gas pumps caught my eye for a Fuel Rewards Card program that was free to sign up and gives you a discount on gasoline when you use the card frequently. Intrigued, I went into the store and asked the clerk for more details. He gave me the card with the brochure that explains how to sign up online and to activate the card. Once I signed up, I went back out to the gas pump to fill up my tank. The Fuel Rewards card gave me a 10 cent discount from the original price (yes....10 cents) at my first fill-up. The price of gasoline that day was at $2.89/gallon and went down to $2.79/gallon. That was awesome! My account was granted Gold Status after this and now I can save 5 cents on every fill-up at any Shell location with the Fuel Rewards Card. I was so happy with the outcome that I forgot about the $8.00 I spent for the mediocre burger. In addition to the 5 cent discount on the gasoline, further discounts will be offered if you use the card for booking flights, hotels, online shopping, and car rentals. When dining out and the purchase is over $50, the card will give you a 10 cent discount on your next fill-up. You can also link your MasterCard, Visa, or American Express with the Rewards Card and get another 5 cent gas discount after spending $50. With so many gas stations in town, I was fortunate to have two of the Shell locations not far from where I live. What turned out to be a disappointing meal became a great money-saving find in the end.
