Specialized Import, now JT Auto, was our go-to place for every car we owned (4) during our 31 years in Alaska. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. JT and Jerry are a team devoted to excellent customer care and mechanical servicing. I knew I could depend on them for any minor or major upkeep, but even more important, I could trust that the quote given and the service provided was accurate. Went in for a rattling noise in my Subaru. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and even squeezed us in for last minute help right before closing. Super helpful and knowledgeable, and the customer service was excellent. Definitely recommend! Thank you guys!

I used to get frustrated when I realized how difficult it is to get a perfect 850 credit score , because most lenders determine your interest rate using tiered ranges , and those with scores above about 740 can generally expect to get the same rate with someone at 850 . I was having a problem with bank overdrafts due to their fee schedule . NEW HORIZON CREDIT 1 changed my due date and lowered the fee a lot . I just checked my credit score and they are better than I thought. I just got approved for a mortgage . I sincerely recommend you contact them via ( NEW HORIZON CREDIT 1 AT GMAIL DOT COM )

I called this shop on 9/24 to check if they had any openings for service and they said they were booked up until November. They asked what was wrong and I said we have wiper issues, concerned about our safety they said bring it in and we will check it out. I brought it in and employee JT was on it. Within minutes, the vehicle was fixed. Wow now thats top service, and yes, we will be back.

Have been taking my Subaru here since purchased it used years ago. They recently did a timing belt and replaced my head gaskets. The car is running better and quieter now then it has since I have owned it! Highly recommend them. JT and Jerry were great communicators and very easy to work with.

I don't EVER give out 5 star reviews, but JT and his staff will get this one. He answered detailed questions on the phone prior to having my vehicle towed there, they called to confirm drop off by tow company, and were quick to call with diagnosis and with the repair. Additionally, they did NOT attempt to upsell to extra items that MIGHT be addressed, but explained them in the context of a 28 year old (but very reliable vehicle). In other words, "yeah, we could spend hours looking for the minor oil leak, but if you're competent enough to check the oil regularly, it's fine." Having run a service department in another industry, I appreciate this more than most. And any service writeup that describes my car as "unhappy, especially when turning", gets my vote for having a genuine sense of humor about people and vehicles. Cannot recommend this business enough.

Great place to take your import in for repairs. The owner, JT, is a former Toyota dealership technician. Specialized Import offers ASE certified service on all imports, including newer high-end Audi's BMW's and Mercedes. Unlike some other shops, JT has the computers the tools needed to service the cars that are so new that they are hard to fix DIY as well as the older vehicles that other shops just don't want to waste time on and put effort into. They accept cash, as well as visa and mastercard with the EMV chips. Since Covid, this local business is encouraging social distancing and masks are required here. There is sanitizer readily available as well.
