I waited for a long time, no help came after I asked front counter service to have an employee unlock a cage for my requested item. I saw employees walking around no one asked me if I needed help. Amazing I am just waiting at the display cage. What did they think I was waiting for a pizza?

The customer service at the Tudor store is the worst I have ever seen. In September I made an online order for a wooden dog kennel and a trash can. On October 3rd I got a text say the kennel was at the store ready for pickup. I looked on my online account and it said that both pieces were there at the store. Not wanting to make a second trip, I called to verify this. The guy I talked to first acted like I was stupid and explained they would message me when the second piece arrived. I refused to accept his response until he actually heard what I was saying. He finally looked it up and went from that means it arrived in Seattle to it was on a boat down at the dock and ended with it was on a truck waiting to be unloaded. Fast forward, after many more calls, people treating me like I was stupid, being ignored by both the manager and assistant manager, and talking to corporate. I called on the 20th and asked for the assistant manager, after being told he was on a call I said I would hold as nobody liked to return phone calls. After holding for almost 20 minutes the operations manager answered the call informing me that the guy I was holding for was not even in the store. She however offered to try to help me and within just few minutes of investigating came back on the phone and said the trash can was sitting at the service desk right next to the kennel. Not only was sitting right there in plain site it had been sitting there since the 3rd right along with the kennel.

Sales woman was nice enough if not slightly condescending. Also was informed that due to covid, they stopped offering the military discounts on their higher priced items, which makes no sense. She eventually told me to go to see the neighbors (Lowes) because she couldn't help me.

This place just gets worse and worse each year! I just left after trying to buy one 1" plywood and two 1/2" plywood. I got the first one in the cart but we were chased away by two employees, one on a fork lift and one on foot because they had to stock something. So much for THAT project! Just how stupid does a person, oops, do TWO people have to be that actually chase in-store customers out of the store so they can stock some inanimate item? 9-18-2023 Update - We went back to finish our project today but everything we needed was barricaded behind a pallet of lattice and a forklift! The snarky old guy at the C.S. desk "Well, just go and get it!" Duh!

Go through Lowes for an appliance. They deliver, take away, and install. I so wish I did! I've had nothing but trouble since my fridge arrived in Anchorage three weeks ago! Being transferred numerously, going through numerous names of management shift names while being on hold close to a fukn hour each time!!! I recorded each call. The service times are between 6AM-8PM, so I stayed home all day. The 3rd company they use to deliver and install is a JOKE. I legit lost count after 5. I saved everything. How hard is it to follow directions to install? At this point, I believe the delivery/installer guys just pass the job onto whomever. Their 3rd company for deliveries has 5 trucks, 2 men to each truck. Home whack Depot wanna hire these guys, let them. Incompetence to shade, arrogance. Go through LOWES.

This Home Depot is a great place for the importance of getting supplies and for your home when remodeling or replacing appliances, etc. I also enjoy the Bluetooth speakers, even ordering online. The services I received are excellent.

I do like shopping here. Some days are good some not so good. I found the part I was looking for fairly quick. After being told by two separate employees in a rudish manner that they were to busy to help and the 3rd employee telling me I need to learn how to read. I was floored by that response and bit my tongue. Anyways some days are better than others. Be kind

Home Depot is usually where I go. Recently I now work near this midtown Tudor location. So it is worth a review.Considering this is a Home Depot we are talking about, the employees here at this location actually are helpful and nice which is a refreshing plus. My experience is usually not that. The stock here is always the best in town. They usually don’t disappoint having what you need. Glad to be nearby this location now! A good of three Anchorage locations.

We had our kitchen destroyed in a flooding emergency. We needed to buy a new kitchen quick smart. I am a nurse and my husband a scientist, and we are not builder - savvy, hence why we decided to go through professionals. Not only was the sales -award- winning "Jerry" rude, condescending and not helpful, he just lost a $20K as have purchased from their competitors. Time to retire Jerry.

I ordered an area rug for curbside pickup. I tried their app to notify them of my arrival. Don't bother, it doesn't work. Just call the number on the sign in the parking lot. The delivery was very quick after making contact.

Home Depot is terrible, despite it's gigantic floor plan conning you into thinking "Oh it's so huge they must have everything!!" it's always horrendous trying to obtain the thing you need. If you look online before visiting the store you are soothed because they appear to have what you need but once you get there, that's not the case. For instance, we moved to a new house 2 years ago this month. First, we had to replace a washing machine. I researched the one i wanted, and Home Depot online had it. So we went and visited the store. Even finding a staff member to take my order was frustrating, i couldn't find anyone. Then he told me, "No, we don't have this in stock, it will be a special order - could be up to 6 months before you get it" Well, as the washing machine we were using was semi-broken, and leaking water, this wasn't what i wanted to hear. It took about 3 months if i remember correctly. They took the old one away and installed the new one though. But the main reason I'm writing a review is because of my most recent experience with my range. Ours was a 2nd hand one, several functions on the oven didn't work, so we decided to get a new one.Unfortunately it needed to be a very specific type of range - Downdraft - which is Quite old technology. Home Depot had 5 types online. On visiting the store, They only had 1 available. A Kitchenaid model costing $3239. And OF COURSE it would be a special order as they don't have any in stock and nor do any of the other Anchorage stores. I mean, i ask you we are the largest state in the USA, why is there no room for a warehouse that they can store their product? This really has me thoroughly outraged. Again, I'm told between 3 and 6 months for delivery. I was told to call in 5 weeks to be updated. I called in 5 weeks (March 17th) and they told me that it would be received on April 19th, which was one month and 2 days after i called for the update. We were in Palm Springs on April 19th, and i was anxiously awaiting that call, thinking "I'll have to ask them to defer delivery for a few days" Well, of course, i received no such call. We got back and i received a call just last week, stating that the next delivery date was May 1st so i took that spot. I asked the gentleman on the phone "Do the delivery guys install the new range, and take away the old range" he confirmed with me, that all appliances are installed, with the exception of dishwashers, and built in microwaves, so i rubbed my hands together with glee. I have an event on Friday, for which i need to bake on Thursday evening, and i was very much looking forward to doing so in my fancy new Kitchenaid oven. The delivery guy called and told me they were 25 minutes away. They arrived, and were saying that it has no power cord. Upon unboxing, we found it taped to the back. However, it was a 4 pin plug, and our old range has a 3 pin plug. They can do nothing. Then they tell us there's no ducting kit. My husband asks them "Is it not still in the box?" They swear up and down no it's not in the box. One of them goes out to the van to look, and comes back in with a box, saying, it was not in the box it was on the floor of the van. We were tempted to refuse delivery, as it could not be installed as promised Last night we went to Home Depot, we buy a 4 pin socket, and husband changed the socket last night. We start assembling the bits and pieces required to attach the Downdraft fan. There is no ducting pipe work. How on earth can this be ducted to the outside without ducting of some kind. Why is it not included? I just do not understand why it wouldn't be included in the package. My husband is cutting holes in the floor right now, in order to install this new fan, and had to purchase metal piping to create the necessary duct, which fortunately he watched countless Youtube videos for a way to duct this range. I don't have 1 working range. I have huge things sitting around, that i keep banging my hips off of. A

My wife and I stopped at Tudor home depot to buy a cultivator tiller. The price looked fair but when we went to buy it they raised the price. I showed them the tag with the price but they refused to sell it to me for the price stated. This is the kind of bait and switch BS that will send me anywhere other then home depot. BTW. This isn't the first time they have done this!

It's a Home Depot, that's always good, but better come in with a plan because good luck getting assistance. The knowledgeable, helpful employees are clearly overworked, but once you can finally get a hold of one then they're great. Definitely plan to add 30 minutes to a quick trip though. Appreciate that they will help make out of state orders for rural residents to pick up.

Went into the store to try and design my kitchen and it was roughly 4 pm. The first guy I talked to in there said he probably wouldn’t have enough time because he was going home at 6… so he passed me off to another guy who you could tell was finding every excuse to not help…. He tried to tell me he had no way of designing it because I didn’t have the exact measurement from the wall to the stove… even though it is electric and it really doesn’t matter where you put it… I had all the other measurements but that wasn’t good enough… went across the street to Lowe’s and the girl there was able to do it in about 30 minutes and I paid and left… so Home Depot lost out on a 7k sale because of these 2 lazy old guys….
