They really have an issue with little children using the bathroom?! They want my son to potty outside in the bushes?! I will NEVER shop or donate to salvation army EVER again.

I stand by previous review, this Salvation Arny is a disgrace. Their pricing makes zero sense. MOST items are over priced (in some cases costing more than they would new) while other items are over priced. Very disappointing

This place used to be fairly priced and in the past few months the pricing has gotten out of hand. Is it a thrift store or a resell boutique. $50 for dresses with numerous stains, 30 year old jackets for $50 and numerous other items at obscene prices. The Salvation Army is a place for the less fortunate should be able to afford USED items.Yes, resellers are coming into the stores and making a profit and yes it might be listed higher on eBay. That is because resellers work hard to create a following, sell to a certain audience and spend hours in thrift stores to add to the selling closet. It is a shame to see a non profit act so greedy in a time when people are struggling more then ever. Thrift stores are the final stop before a landfill, when you price so high people will not buy things, less money for your cause in the long run and it ends up in the landfills.

Everything is donated free. Managers don't like homeless people going there for clothes at all. The Managers look down at homeless people.

Last Salvation Army thrift store located in Anchorage. High volume thrift store with items changing daily. Plenty of inventory turn over and the ability to find deals on a regular basis. Daily sales on select items including 50% off days. Bargain shoppers have opportunity to find unique items as well as the occasional “Diamond in the rough”.

The selection wasnt very big for my size this go around. But usually that's never the case. But I just love 2nd hand thrift stores. It's an opportunity to develope a different n unique style.

Nice to just browse if not looking for something specific. It's true, someone's trash is someone's treasure!
