I was supposed to have my U-Haul until the 2nd of November. The uhail was reported stolen and got towed away day before I was supposed to turn it in! This is such an inconvenience for someone. I now have a storage unit I didn’t ask for at this location as well. I’m not going to have any more to do with this location, and suggest others to go somewhere else. have to go to court for a 2nd degree misdemeanor auto theft!!? I’m very unhappy with this location not only was I not given a 10’ truck when I asked for it for 15’ instead. I was charged for a storage unit witch should have been my extension. Thank god the police didn’t arrest me on their stupidity!

Received the U-Haul with the gas pretty much at E. Went to get more gas and it wouldn’t start back up. Was told that I wasn’t even supposed to receive this U-Haul because it was faulty. Still waiting on roadside assistance eta 3 hours.

Staff was good..everything else, not goodReceived truck with empty fuel tank.Received truck with faulty lighting (headlight out).Received truck with worn out wiperblades.Received truck with damages not shown in active pictures of vehicle (pictures submitted with app check)Attempted after-hours check in with app. App failed to verify location repeatedly (android with location allowed), rebooted 2x, same behavior.Attempted chat in app with no response for 10min.Attempted to call 800 number to complete after-hours turn in. After hold, was sent to another department and was immediately disconnected.Called again and was sent to dept to do after-hours turn in and was directed to website which would not complete process.Took pictures of mileage, gas level, and exterior and dropped keys in night drop after spending an hour trying to perform after-hours check in after driving 55miles in the rain with defective wipers and one headlight at the end of a moving day..

Shady business practices, charging for gas even tho you retured the vehicle filled of from where you left off. Over charging on miles even tho you took photos of how many miles you started and ended. Never again doing business with this location. We the residents of Anchorage need to set them straight with a class action lawsuit. ⚖️

Austin had awesome service, quick and very professional . The night before the uhaul we rented from boundary broke down and was told we had to wait till the next day to get our belongings but he got us another truck and made it happen quick and easy.

They gave me the oldest truck on the lot with no gas in it smh customer service was top notch with the white gentleman in front of me and when I got my turn it was different smh. I didn't want to be rude in front of the workers but I got time for a review

The lady we had to deal with was an absolute nightmare. She was soo completely rude and actually YELLED at my daughter while we were getting our keys. She had long brown hair with blunt bangs and I will be contacting her supervisor on Monday

They installed the wrong hitch on my car!Booked a hitch installation appointment online, got confirmation, showed up to my appointment, found out my hitch is on order and it was just a “ghost appointment” according to the worker. I never received a notification saying my appointment was delayed. The worker said the interface allows customers to book “ghost appointments” and he tells people all day everyday the same thing about the flaw in the system. I got a random notification that I had an appointment scheduled without adequate notice. I tried calling to cancel, but was put on hold for an unnecessary amount of time. Eventually I was refunded my money when I just wanted to reschedule my appointment. I was able to finally reschedule and get a hitch installed, but it was the wrong hitch. I was scheduled to have a hidden cross tube. The worker said “and you can’t live with it?” I had to return for a third time to get the correct hitch installed and they only refunded me $40. Save yourself the time and in the end your money by going somewhere else.

Every single time I come here everyone just seems so lazy and slow. Could probably hook up a trailer and leave and they wouldn’t even notice. I’m sure if these employees got paid decent this problem wouldn’t occur. This location is straight garbage and they’re lucky no one is around to compete

Came here to rent a truck for a day to move some stuff around town. I used the Uhaul website to set up online check in and pick up. In the end, this didn't save me any time, as the process was long, annoying, and required me to go inside to wait in line anyway. The truck I rented worked fine but was old and best up. Retuning it went much smoother, with an employee who met me outside and checked me out quickly. Pro tip: try not to rent a truck around the first of the month like I did.

Customer service sucks. Everything takes an eternity, no one has any hustle; semi-competent staff with attitude problems. I’ve used their services several times and it’s always the same.
