Horrible business under the U-Haul name. Very poor customer service. Reserved auto trailer, no trailer to pick up and no support or answers just push you back out the door with a number to call. No further assistance. Wish Alaska had more options than this shitty U-Haul business. Unbelievable they are still in business. Only good thing about this experience, I now want to invest open my own U-Haul or Penske rental place to sink this poorly operated companies. Penske Coming end of 2023! In the works.

Vehicle was clean, ready to go and performed great. Very please and will be coming back to this location again in the future. The staff on the phone was friendly, fast and extremely easy to work with. Probably the best interaction I've ever had with a U-Haul representative. I recently rented a U-Haul pick up truck to haul a bed. The pick up truck was clean well-maintained. Customer service was exceptional. Thank you so much for making my experience quick and easy.

I have never had an issue with UHAUL previously anywhere I have lived. I ordered and paid for a hitch for my car in Feb, made an appointment for March. The appointment is canceled because the hitch is not in stock. But they keep my money and another few weeks go by nothing. I call UHAUL and you cant talk to the shop you call some main number and my credit card is refunded, but they have the hitch.. hmm.. should have been a red flag. I make another appointment, show up and the assistant manager that was nice enough said they dont have a hitch installer. So hour lost from work, ok, made another appointment. I take my car back for the 2nd time and they can't find my appointment, but they have already charged my credit card.. hmmm. They have the hitch but not the wiring, hmm I made an in person appointment with assistant manager. OK just put the hitch on. I leave the car so they can manage their day however they like. NOPE I get a call a few hours later the hitch doesnt fit... WHAT, like how is that even possible? I drive a newer car that has a hitch option from the dealer. I have now given them my make model year both online and in the store. Is there not something that says which parts to buy to assemble something? The hitch installer tells me I must have some "special" car that it doesnt work on. I call the dealer they laughed and said nope its not "special" , frames are frames. Back to UHAUL I go. The guys are nice but know nothing about hitches. The manager will not come out talk to me to refund my credit card that she charged the day before. Unbelievable. So I waited a few days to see if I had a credit on my card, nope. Dispute filed. Worthless.

Despite having "fixed" the auto pay issues for the past few months and charging me an extra $30 late fee each time. When I brought this to their attention over the phone they hung up mid conversation.

Employees stole from my mothers unit that was only occupied for a grand total of 7 days. The manager at this store had his employees bring the items back as we called APD. A employee named Cheyenne brought back some of my deceased fathers items but the remains of my father, grandmother and grandfather were not. The manager then told APD that there is an additional storage unit were the items may be (employees stashing stolen goods?) As of today we are still working with APD and waiting, incident report was filed with U-Haul 2/25/2021. Moral, do NOT rent here.
