Good information center. Many tourist booklets, promotional materials, schemes, maps. Employees are ready to explain and show everything. And the view of the center attracts attention.

Anchorage in itself is a never miss a visit town.Very lively and lovely city. Everything,buildings,shops homes most beautifully decorated .A most pleasing place.

Great place to orient yourself and learn about the places you're going to visit. People are really nice and extremely helpful and loaded with lots of information. Depending on the time of year (our visit was in late June), the area in & around the Anchorage Visitor's is quite vibrant with spectacular flowers, colors, eclectic sights, stores, people that truly enjoyable. Everything was well kept and orderly streets were clean and well maintained. Simply a delightful place to visit, I wish we had taken more time for this, there's lots to discover. Enjoy.

Spoke with one of the agents there and she made me more confused than when I started. Maybe I just got the wrong customer service agent. Good thing they have tons of literature and some good maps in the place. That why the 3 stars.

Come inside, pull up a chair & chat...
Dropped by randomly to check it out & the older lady behind the counter (Elizabeth) was super friendly; provided useful suggestions and answers for my questions.
Interior decor is cozy though the entire structure is small. Nice place to pull up a chair & study some maps or pick out a few local event brochures.
Loved the various paper currency displayed all along the cabin walls as a banner; fun to see where visitors have come from.
No public restroom.
