Mr. Taylor here is a great guy. His service is impeccable, he's easy to work with and he definitely knows his long range stuff. He's currently open Tues.-Sat. 1-6 PM, and he is easy to reach by email. He goes out of town to teach long range precision courses, but even then he responded via email within 10 minutes!

We can not get a hold of the store personnel. We made the trip all the way in just to find out the store is vacant. I wish Wiggies would have updated their stores hours of business, bu address on Google.

Terrible customer service! Owner was extremely rude. Don’t shop here if you expect any level of customer service.Response to Comment bellow:Mark, you were extremely rude, and you got the review you deserved. There are lots of ways you could have communicated with me, and you chose to be disrespectful. I don't appreciate being treated that way, and think others should know before they decide to shop at your store. No crusade here. Just accountability.

This folks are awesome. Picked them out as the closest dealer to my house when making a purchase on silencershop.com. Could not have been a better experience. Very informative with the process and was great to work with. As I am eyeing another purchase from silencer shop I will not hesitate to use Wiggy's again. The best part was my approved stamp came in on the weekend and he said to come by and he'll get me taken care of. The fact that they had a pair of dogs running around was icing on the cake. Easily the best place to do transfers if you are in South Anchorage.

It is trite to say that something is the "best". What is the definition of "best"? If you go by the definition of "the most excellent, effective, or desirable type of quality", then Wiggy's products are the best. I have a sleeping bag that is now over 25 years old, and has been slept in for at least 150 nights. It's still in excellent condition. The quality and design of Wiggy's products are seriously good. Just looking at the zippers makes you realize that these are not your usual department store products.I recently acquired a full set of FR Arctic Gear from another store in town, but wish that I would have purchased it at Wiggy's. Wiggy's gear, both FR and otherwise, is very high quality and durable.Regardless of the type of cold-weather Alaskan activity, I think Wiggy's has the right product. There is a parka and pair of mitts that I'm eyeing for next winter.Years ago, when I had my backpacking sleeping bag custom made (additional length), I talked with Wiggy himself and he said that the bag would be an heirloom bag--it would last the rest of my life. 25 years later, I am convinced that he knew what he was talking about. And the design has only improved since then!One unique feature of the Lamilite insulation is the self-drying characteristic. You can completely soak the bag, crawl inside and it will dry with you in it. Even wet, it will warm you up. I've personally experienced this and have woken up completely surrounded by a puddle and a dried bag.The Wiggy's store in Anchorage is quite charming and has a friendly atmosphere.

Great warm weather clothing. I have several jackets, the comforter is the best one I've ever had. I'm warm almost instantly, instead of it taking 15 minutes to get warm in my bed. The sleeping bag is the best ever. All their products are made in the United States and the bags are guaranteed. Oh mittens are so warm. I have never been cold in my Wiggy Gear. Customer service is also great.

Tried calling to ask what type of insulation, how thick is the loft. The clerk rambled off that the bags keep you warm, he has a mob of customers in front of him and no time to talk. You'll just have to show up to the store and look at the products yourself and decide for yourself what you need. I called Climashield for info on Wiggy's products. Left in the dark here as well. It's good product.
