Global Credit Union (formerly AK USA) is appreciated for its friendly and polite customer service across all branches, especially in rural communities. Members value the bank’s helpful staff who are willing to address issues and provide support. However, some customers find it inconvenient that the bank shares a building with Alaska Commercial Company, which can make access difficult for those banned from the grocery store, as they are also unable to enter the bank. Despite this, many enjoy the bank's services and the sense of connection it provides, even from afar. Overall, GCU is seen as a reliable and caring financial institution.
