“I stopped here on my way home after a very emotional visit to Valdez. I really hadn't eaten a decent meal in weeks. I was finally hungry. Boy, am I glad I stopped. They are NOT kidding when they say that their eggs benedict is voted the best in the state. IT IS NOT A LIE! Also, those homefries were amazing. I have no doubt that I will be back.”
“We stayed on the first weekend of the season and really liked this place. Great stopping point between Anchorage and Valdez. Close to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. The hotel was very clean and we loved the lodge atmosphere. The cozy great room had a fireplace, high ceilings and looked out over the forest and mountains. The outdoor seating area was just right and had a corn home game. The staff at the front desk gift shop and restaurant were very friendly, helpful and efficient.”
