“This place is great! The spaghetti was very flavorful with tons of different veggies, sausage, and meatballs. The breadbowls are fun too. Best food we had on the island.”
“I have been looking for a souvenir gift shop in the area and I finally found it. I actually saw the open sign today and I got excited. The store had a vast array of items to chose from with Alaska-related souvenirs as well as items from around the world which was nice to see. I wish I had more money to spend because I could have bought a lot more than I did, but I honestly found myself wanting more high-end art (jewelry, paintings, post cards, etc) from locals which is primarily what I look for when I visit places among Southeast, Alaska. A majority of the indigenous artwork was commercially made from Canada or represented Alaska which I liked and has its place in a souvenir shop for sure but, for me, I can buy that from any location. I wanted more Craig, Klawock, or POW-related artwork or at least printed with the actual name "Craig", "Klawock", or "Prince of Wales" on it. Regardless, I really liked what I saw and will probably go back before I leave. Oh yes... before I forget, Jan was a delight - attentive, helpful, and resourceful.”
“There are some clever items that are suitable as gifts for children and friends. Although I didn't buy anything this time due to a long trip, I would like to visit this store next time.”
