Plane came in early today with NO UPDATE. No assistance at the desk, and no help for handicapped elders.

Not a fan of crowding in the small space after TSA or the small baggage ramp, but this airport does the job and the employees are always friendly and helpful.

The Alaska Airlines facility is small. If the 737 jet is even close to being filled, there will be not be enough space for everyone in the waiting areas. There is only one restroom, which does not have potable water. So if you arrive in Dillingham needing to fill a water bottle, you can't do it in the terminal. Getting baggage is a bit of scrum since there is only about a 25' area for bags to be deposited. But all of the people that I talked with (AK Airlines and TSA) were friendly and helpful. There are also 2 courtesy phones available for local calls.

Worst airport I've been to. Very disorganized. You can come early and still miss your flight.

Would be nice if you had a bench outside with a awning of some sort . You open at 9:30am most people who fly in and out of here don’t have vehicles or friends to pick and drop off . I got here at 5 am and had to sit in the dirt in the rain basically.

The staff does their best. It’s management that needs to ensure bags get onto planes from Anchorage to Dillingham. The other issue is that when bags arrive they need another ramper to be inside the building to shift bags towards the bags to spend up the process so people are not waiting a half hour for their bags.

The Alaska Airlines staff at Dillingham was very helpful. They advised me that the checked luggage needed to be checked at least 2 hours before departure to insure that my bag would make the flight. TSA must hand check 100% of the luggage at this airport, and that takes time. Getting to the airport when TSA begins the boarding process about 1 hour before departure will all but guarantee that your checked bag will not be on your plane, and will ship the next day instead. Once you check your bag, you can leave the airport and come back 1 hour before departure. So you can check your bag much earlier on the day you depart if you want. The terminal building is small, and there are only 4-5 seats by the Alaska Airlines counter where you can sit. The airport provides no wifi for customers, there are no vending machines at the airport, and I heard no public announce system. Raised voices were used instead. Be prepared. There are many times a good deal of turbulence encountered on approach to the airport. The Alaska Airlines pilots are very proficient in handling such turbulence, so don't worry.
