The people at Eagle River Body & Paint are incredible. I encountered them by chance because of their status as a licensed U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer. The short version of my story is that the people here are honest, thoughtful, and talented, and you should give them your business. The long version of my story is below.I rented a 6x12 U-Haul trailer from the North Anchorage U-Haul location on Boundary Ave. I reserved the trailer for a drop-off in Seattle, and explained to the North Anchorage U-Haul that I would be traveling through Yukon and British Columbia on the Alaska Highway during winter, and that the trailer should be in good shape. The North Anchorage U-Haul hooked me up to a first trailer, only to discover that the wheels were seized up. The employee then hooked me up to another nearby trailer. I looked at the wheels and questioned whether they were sufficient for the length of my drive. The tires were almost completely bald. They had little tread at all. The trailer as also banged up, and did not have the proper stickers to indicate the existence of the dents that were present. The U-Haul didn't seem to care much, and sent me on my way. After traveling less than an hour outside Anchorage in a snow storm, the trailer got a flat tire. I pulled into the nearest U-Haul location I could find, which happened to be Eagle River Body & Paint. I parked in their lot and contacted U-Haul roadside assistance. One of the employees of Eagle River Body & Paint came by to see if everything was OK. We explained the situation. He took one look at the tires and said that all four were wildly inadequate, and that he wouldn't let someone take a trailer to Fairbanks in that condition. He also noted that the trailer was hooked up incorrectly, and that the North Anchorage location had a reputation for this level of incompetence. We struggled to get U-Haul to replace all four tires. Instead, they sent a provider with one spare tire to replace the tire that had blown out on the highway. Several hours went by, along with dozens of calls to U-Haul, who explained that they were having difficulty locating other spare tires in the area. The Egale River Body & Paint business owner became involved at some point in this process, and began speaking with U-Haul himself. The owner and the employee tried to explain to U-Haul that these tires needed to be replaced, and that we had been waiting several hours for U-Haul to get us new tires.Eventually, the owner decided he would just take the tires of a 6x12 trailer he had on his location, and put them on our trailer. These tires were nearly new and were in great condition. Before U-Haul had even approved this plan, he took our trailer, swapped out the tires, and sent us on our way.I honestly don't know what we would have done without Eagle River Body & Paint. They were critical in getting us on our way in a timely fashion. They were friendly, professional, and helpful.

They were willing to take a crack at fixing(or at least shutting) my jammed sunroof. While fixing it totally would’ve required some pricey pieces, they got it shut! They put in quality work and gave me a very reasonable price. Super professional too! 5/5, definitely recommend.

this place is all about taking care of their customers and they refuse to overcharge. the owner will bend over backwards to help his customer that is just the way he is. The repairs are beyond expectations and I couldn't believe the honesty behind his recommendations. I thought I might just let my vehicle be totaled by the insurance company but he was true and honest and let me know that I should retain the salvage value on my vehicle. Then he took care of me and did me right on the repair and I still own my vehicle outright. I have never been talked to in such an honest and intelligent ligament way

I had a repaint quoted at twice and three times the price of what Eagle River Body & Paint offered. I was skeptical at first, but my vehicle was done in two days and the new paint was matched perfectly to the factory job. I could not be more pleased with the services rendered, as well as with the friendliness and straightforward manner with which I was treated by the staff. I will be coming here to resolve all of my future autobody/paint issues.

I'm a perfectionist! So I took them my Black 94 Corvette with a cracked drivers rear quarter panel. They color matched it perfectly and decided that the entire car needed to match, so they buffed it all to match! They did it for free and now she is stunning and mirror perfect! They really car about the customer and will deliver a flawless product! Will certainly go back to them!

Replaced the right rear passenger door on my 2001 Ford Excursion. Saved me money by recommending I pull one from a nearby junkyard rather than order a new one, which I did (Knik Salvage.) They replaced and repainted the door. Excellent blending and finish and they were able to use part of the old trim to save me from buying new trim. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommended and I will use them again!

These guys are great! I brought Brian an odd request. I had two toy Barbie jeeps my wife had as a kid from the 1970s. She had hours of fond memories playing with them, but they had rusted and faded over the years. In fact she had thrown them out but I secretly rescued them and asked if there was any way to bring them back to even close to their former condition as a Christmas gift for her. In a fraction of the time I thought it would take, Brian called me and said they were ready. To my surprise, they were like new! His team poured a huge amount of time into them and went far above and beyond what I expected could be done. The amount of effort far exceeded what we both thought, but he stuck to his original cost estimate knowing he lost money on them. I'm in the military and these shiny, pink jeeps detailed to the stickers and gleaming interiors will bring back a piece of my wife's childhood years far from home. I can't thank you enough!

Over the past twenty years my job required many vehicles to be repaired. Eagle River Body and Paint was and still is the only place I found that not only completed the body repairs right, but were friendly and took great pains to ensure complete satisfaction for every customer! Thank you for great work.
