Does not open when they are listed to open, seems to be a “whenever we feel like showing up” kind of a thing.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent decline in service at the Eagle River pharmacy location. Over the past year, customer service has deteriorated considerably, from in person customer service to phone accessibility it has drastically declined.
As a specific example, my recent attempt to obtain a 30-day prescription required three separate visits. Initially, I received only a partial fill of five tablets, with the remainder provided over subsequent trips and each time acted like it was complicated and the second time tried not to fill it. While the pharmacy's location being a couple blocks from my house was once convenient, the ongoing challenges make it no longer a viable option for me.
After five years as a customer, I have made the decision to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy due to these persistent issues. It is my impression that the pharmacy may also be experiencing difficulties retaining staff, which is likely contributing to the decline in customer service.
I would suggest considering strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention, such as increasing wages, implementing performance-based incentives, and fostering a more positive work environment. Addressing these issues may help attract and retain qualified staff, ultimately leading to improved customer service and reduced customer attrition. ty

Basic Wallgrewns selection with some brands other stores don't have. Very friendly staff but they always seem short handed. One person to run an entire store?

The most absolutely worse service EVER. Filled old prescription at wrong dose for months, gave wrong quantities, never open during normal hours, filthy inside the store, messed up my insurance, spoke very loudly so the whole store can hear all the personal information of anyone they are helping. Don't do it ..just don't. Find a better pharmacy.

The male pharmacist who works Monday thru Thursday is excellent. Helpful, patient and puts in extra effort to assist every time I've worked with him. He is great. The female who works Fridays and Saturdays is absolutely horrendous. Openly hostile, rude and nasty. Puts you on hold without telling you and either hopes you hang up after 10 minutes or simply never comes back to the phone. She absolutely cannot be professional or even show the bare minimum of human decency. If you need anything from Walgreens pharmacy when that woman is on duty, don't even bother. It won't happen and you will be insulted. Any other day you will be pleased with how well you are treated by the gentleman.

Waited on hold for 12 minutes before I gave up. Going somewhere else to fill my prescription- sounds like I’m not alone in my frustration.

Horrible customer service and even worse follow through. I brought my film in to be developed on may 10th. It is August 1st and I still haven’t gotten it back. The staff told me they would call Fuji film (the company they send the film to) on more than one occasion. That has never happened, and if I call them back to follow up, I get snide comments and unhelpful suggestions. They refuse to actually help me and have no idea how to do their jobs. I will never bring another roll of film to any Walgreens, let alone this one. Who knows if I’ll ever get the original one back.

The phones never get answered in pharmacy when needed. Tried 4 times in 1.2 hrs. Was either on hold. Then would ring again only to have someone hit hold button again.
Tried getting help with transfer with people upfront , only get attitude.
Meds script was screwed up and needed fix asap. Hire more help on pharmacy, answer the dam phones!

They dont deserve a star. They do not care about their customers. They never have my perscription ready when they say it is. Instead of making sure they have my medicine when I request a fill they wait until I show up to get it and tell me they can only do a partial fill because they need to order more and they make me wait in the parking lot while they fill it. Im not surprised their rating on here is so low. For controlled the substances they will sometimes fill it a day before due, sometimes 5 days before due and then when they're on a power trip they will make you wait until the day you need it before they will let you pick it up. I'm sure these inconsistencies come straight from the pharmacist.

Eagle River, Alaska pharmacy is worthless. Moving my business to Fred Meyer even though they do not rake my prescription. Tried calling in an order for over two hours today. Very frustrating and I don’t need it. I definitely don’t need Walgreens.
