Ive been shopping at Freds for over 40 years. Recently the food quality has taken a swan tdive. The produce is eather over ripe or not ripe. The bread that Freds bakes is terrible to say the least. I can make my own bread at home that is way better. So, I will make my own. Also, you advertise FRESH food. Thats a lie, none of your food is fresh, thats impossible!Whats important is not making a profit as much as providing healthy food and Freds is failing.

Lots of amazing options especially if you are Gluten Free and Dairy Free! And I grew up on Kroger brand si I'm especially happy that Fred Myers has it I love that it literally has everything A-Z from groceries to household and anything else. I love shopping here especially for Holidays!!!!

This place is huge! Coming from Australia we were so blown away with how much was actually here. Everything from groceries to clothing & toys was all in the one place and a huge variety of it. We stocked up on our groceries which were all reasonably priced and tasted great.

Really can't complain. Stuff is on sale quite a bit, and I had a really good talk with my wife about how everyone else is NPC'S while we were eating lunch there.

I don't know why, but I really like shopping at Fred Meyer and will shop at one if there is one in the city I am visiting. For those of you unfamiliar with Fred Meyer, the set up is similar to Wal Mart in which you have your grocery side and then the side that sells items you would expect to find in a department store (clothes, books, outdoor sporting equipment, kitchen wares, etc). But I prefer shopping at Fred Meyer and think the atmosphere is just different from Wal Mart. Anyways, my husband and I ended up shopping at this particular location twice while staying in Fairbanks, to stock up on groceries. Fred Meyer is part of the Kroger family and so if you have a loyalty card with this market chain, you can provide the phone number you used to sign up for that, at check out to get additional savings. Convenient location with plenty of parking. The store was clean and I appreciated the disinfectant wipes inside, by the front entrance so that I could wipe my cart down. If I was a local, I would shop here regularly.

Just a note for employees, if you can not perform HR's duties for them and maintain employment records and documents, you will receive no assistance. "Corporate" has decided you will go through a website, which means you will wait on hold on the phone with definite issues, to make the same request for documentation that HR has been federally required to handle for years, as the go-between for employees and corporate. My work situation while I was there was awful as well, featuring kind bosses willing to assist in my lack of ability to perform a specific job duty, however the manager absolutely refused to allow me any assistance and I was forced to quit. In short, don't sign up and unexpectedly become sick from something in their environment or you'll be forced to stay and work around it despite clear indicators of physical illness, such as throwing up constantly every day.

They have EVERYTHING. Good selection but a little showed out at times. High quality. Not sure I would but jewelry or electronics but I could.

The floral department for this store is top notch!! They did the flowers for an event for me and completely blew me out of the water, definitely exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

This place is a one stop shop wonder. And to top it off, they have an adorable, albeit small, kosher section, but it had beef jerky, so we got some meat! Fish and produce we're lackluster, but there's definitely enough space that i got to play hide and go seek/tag with some of my children while waiting for others to finish shopping.

I just wish items were stocked a little bit more often than it's been lately other than that, I'm always more impressed by the selection of clothing and the nice brands, way better than Walmarts selection, clearance needs to be cheaper

Locally speaking, Fred Meyers is my second favorite BIG Chain super center grocery store..They are more expensive than Walmart and is the biggest reason I don't shop there much..Why spend all that extra money for the same exact brand products especially since the cheaper store is literally right behind them!? But for the last 8 months Walmart is becoming the more expensive store! Walmart their price gouging is really ticking me off lately...

I went here late last night to get a few things I was out of and there was a ton of expired milk and creamer all over the shelves. Not just a few here and there it was a lot. Other than that I found everything else I needed.

The bakery staff is terribly rude. I set a pickup for 9 am 4 days prior because it was an option through the site. I got here shortly after nine and waited for them to acknowledge us at the counter. I told her I’d set a pickup order and gave her my name. She went looking around for the cake and came back and said “it’s set for 9 so it won’t be ready until 9.” It was 9:10 by this point. I let her know It’s already 9 so she went and grabbed her coworker to ask her if she knew why it wasn’t ready. This other worker then informed us in a rude tone that “they don’t do cakes til 11, we need to give them 30 minutes.” If this is the truth, they need to update the site so pickup isn’t allowed before then. I ordered this 4 days ago. Definitely won’t be returning. ?♀️
