“My husband and I did an alcohol ink art class with Andrea and it was so fun! She guided us through every step and introduced us to techniques to express our creativity and practice a new to us medium. She modeled through example which was very helpful in learning. It was very enjoyable and we look forward to the next class!”
“Beautiful photography by local artist. The owner is always gracious with conversation about local history and Alaska. I always try to visit when I'm in Fox. Just follow the signs to the gift shop.”
“Nice option to have downtown Reasonable prices for what it is, and Super friendly owners.
Also, the guard-pup, LJ, is what keeps me coming back. He's too cute!”
“The items in the shop and online are so rare and things you can find for anyone in your family souvenirs, knickknacks, t-shirts, alaskan made signs, antiques and so much more. What's even better is the owners are such wonderful, outgoing people that talking to them and learning about the history of the business makes the store that much more valuable and unique and their hearts are in it. Take a walk into their store,, especially tourists or anyone looking to send Alaskan gifts to family in the states! You won't regret it ?”
“The location isn't great and the exterior could use a little sprucing up, but otherwise this place is awesome. My family lives coming in and has always been able to find what they needed. The staff is helpful and kind. I'm always happy to support a local business that is invested in the community.”

“Best gift shop in town, we’ve been to several others during the week we spent in Fairbanks and none had the selection and quality of this place. Wish I had found it sooner. And they have better prices than the Museum of the North shop, some of the items were the same, but cost less here.”
“What a great store. It was very enjoyable to watch the bowls being made. We purchased a few authentic Ulu knives. It was nice to be able to get some made in Alaska instead of overseas.”
“I've been to Fairbanks more than a dozen times, and I always end up buying various things to kill time before boarding. These are souvenirs from Alaska, but most of them are made in China. There is a picture of Made in Alaska in the back left corner. It's expensive, but it will be a lifetime memory, so why not choose one made in Native Alaska?”
“This is one of my favorite places to go. Even if just to look!
As soon as you walk in the door, your senses are filled with magical smells of handcrafted soaps, lotions, and candles! You're greeted with a very warm welcome and great customer service!
The handmade work is phenomenal! Their jewelry is so unique and one of a kind, the art in that store is breathtaking. They provide projects that are fun and special that people can do with their families, which include making Mosaic glass animal figurines! There are some of the most beautiful scarves, hats, and gloves for winter... I will try and stop by every chance I can when I go by! Tell your family, and tell your friends that there are wonderful HOLIDAY GIFT ideas for the entire family in this one locally owned business! Happy holidays yall. Safe travels ?”
“I had a great time in this shop! I bought a moose antler ulu knife and it's so beautiful! The prices are also very reasonable in my opinion. The man who runs the store is very kind and patient with my aunts who speak limited English. He would show them visuals of the animals they were not familiar with the English term (i.e. caribou). It was such a fun time.”

“I needed a palm scale for running calcium chloride tests. The staff was bustling! Yet.. stopped to greet me, answer my questions and direct me to the assortment of scales. Price point was comparable to online pricing, but LOCAL! Love local! I appreciate, this business very much !”
“This is a truly Alaskan shop by a true Alaskan family. Even the 23 year old cat is is rugged Alaskan! Any adult will feel like a kid in a toy store. The store has exclusively local Alaskan made products from soaps to saws. The shop is where they do all the jewelry blade work wood and custom jobs. Very fun.”
