“This place is awesome! We stumbled here by accident (followed a sign we saw at Silver Gulch Brewing) and Theresa was so friendly. They have lots of unique gifts you won't find anywhere else, and great prices. Amazing photographs taken by her husband Gary. Lots of auroras, gardens, mountains, and meadows. Some with Bible verses on them! We placed a large order for prints and she's sending them straight to our house with free shipping!”

We went to a super spectacular store that we absolutely loved; it had a huge variety of things, so many items you could buy, but the most important thing was the service from the people there – they were super warm and friendly. And after we finished our shopping, they gave us a wine opener as a gift. Thank you so much for the great service, just like all the people here in Alaska!”

“I've been to Fairbanks more than a dozen times, and I always end up buying various things to kill time before boarding. These are souvenirs from Alaska, but most of them are made in China. There is a picture of Made in Alaska in the back left corner. It's expensive, but it will be a lifetime memory, so why not choose one made in Native Alaska?”

“Amazing experience! I love the classic look of wooden kitchen utensils! The customer service was top notch! Everyone there was super nice to me, my wife, and my parents-in-law. One of the blonde lady was very friendly and talked to us about the process of the bowl making, a bit history of the place, and choices of stuff to choose from.
Sadly, these bowls are very expensive. I am from Los Angeles and I still consider this beyond budget. If what you need is functionality, go get yourself those wooden kitchen utensils or bowls from Fred Meyer or Walmart. But if you care about bragging to friends for where you get them shiny looking bowls from, then get it here in Alaska Great Bowl. I came in with my parents-in-law from Canada. My wife also saw a bunch of posts from Tik Tok and Instagram. So we were excited to shop, until we saw the price and laughed. My father-in-law works in a company that manufactures wood in Quebec. He told me that the price is crazy regardless it's birch or not, real or not, or whatever you wanna call it. One of the cutting board with the purple-bluish resin-like was so beautiful. That alone is 200 something. Majority of the bowls are priced within 3 digits. I appreciate the craftsmanship but I care more about functionality and price point. If you really need a bowl to put food on it and you care about your spending, this place is not it.
I understand handmade items are expensive. I appreciate their efforts, but I'll skip. I spent like around 80 bucks to buy some little stuff like their wooden chopsticks, their jar of cream jams, their pancakes batter, those honey sticks, etc.
Maybe i'd buy one for my mom or dad...and when I told them how much, they will yell at me, tell me to return it, and tell me to give them the cash instead. 😂”
