Ordered walker/rolator three days ago. For delivery to home Two different Uber drivers showed up at Walgreens to pickup the walker. But no one at store knew what they were picking up I had my daughter pick it up and she had to pay for it. They said it wasn’t paid for yet. But the payment was already taken out my bank. I asked for refund of my payment and they said it would be a couple of days for the refund. It’s been three days and still no refund

This place used to be great for filling my prescriptions, especially because of the drive through option with 3 little kids. However, lately this place has continued to go downhill with prescription refills taking an extra long amount of time and me having to go a day or two without medication because it was supposed to be ready a week ago. Just now was told by the drivethrough it would be about 20 minutes to fill the prescription that was supposed to be ready 3 days ago, and when I came back about 30 minutes later she then told me me I could come back in about 3 hours! I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere in order to actually get them filled on time with people who respect my time.

(Just in there) The employee there pretends we weren’t waiting in the photo department with another family trying to get passport photos before us. Three employees pretended not to notice us. We were just picking up the photos we had requested for them to remake.

The pharmacy is pretty disappointing. I understand being understaffed makes things delayed and whatnot but common.
I had a presentation that was sent in and needed insurance approval, except that no one noticed for a week and it was just “in progress”. So I gave it another week, still no update. When I called they said there was an “error” and the pharmacist had no idea what to do. Just a lot of “uh….yeah…there’s an error” lots of silence and no communication. Eventually said that they would need to do a prior auth, okay. I asked what happened to the one from the previous week, they said they don’t know there isn’t one. I called my dr afterwards and they said there was one they got someone from the pharmacy the previous week. Eventually, over a month later, got my eye drops to prevent me from losing vision….
Now I need a refill on blood pressure medication and an SSRI (for chronic fatigue) and I requested over a week ago. NO UPDATE. Says refill is delayed on the app and got an automated call there is an insurance issue. I know there is no insurance problem…but it’s been a week since I’ve had either of those medications in my system and it makes life less functional for me. Just overall extremely frustrated. Going to transfer the prescriptions elsewhere

Don’t waste your time with this pharmacy. There are much better places in town.

The pharmacy assistant claimed I didn’t have any prescriptions in. After pressing her a little bit, she said the prescriptions may be in the queue. I asked if she could look in the queue to see if my name was in it so I could contact my doctor if it was not. She said she would have to go name by name to see if it was in there and she wouldn’t be able to do it immediately. I told her I would have to wait because it was import at for me to get the medicine. I sat there for about 45 min and listened to the phone ring constantly without it being picked up. Around 5-6 people came through and nobody was able to pick up their medicine with the woman giving an excuse of being too busy. The last customer that came up asked to have her prescription filled, and the girl at the counter said there was no way she would be able to fill it until sometime during the week. The customer said she was from out of town and it was antibiotics for her sick kid. The assistant said the customer could have a different pharmacy call to have the prescription transferred, all the while the phone was ringing and left unanswered. Obviously the worker knew they were not answering phone calls. At this point I knew it was hopeless and the girl wasn’t looking through the queue.

This Walgreens has to be the worst, I was told 9 hours wasn’t enough time to fill me prescription yesterday and was told to come back tomorrow and the prescription would be ready so, I drove back down here today and see a sign in the window that says no pharmacist on duty . The hours show 10 to 6 on Saturdays and it’s currently 10:15AM no explanation of when they would be open. I’ve waisted two trips in to town for this and I probably won’t be able to get this transferred to another pharmacy until Monday.

First. They filled my prescription with a one week supply vs 90 days. We sat by and watched as many others had the same experience. Who is charge of inventory???
Next we set a walk in for a Covid test. They took the appt and I confirmed with Evander that we were all set. He said. It will just be 10-15 minutes. Shortly after the pharmacist handed him the printouts for doing the labs. An hour later I asked what’s up? He says well I am not trained on administering the Covid test and our pharmacist is from anchorage is not trainer either. We can’t help you! Seriously. What a cluster this store is.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Don’t use this location for your pharmacy. I sat at the drive thru for over 20 minutes and pressed the call button and no one ever came to the window. I had to bring all my children inside to get my prescription. Why have the convenience of a drive thru if no one is goingax to come assist. Might as well put a sign that the drive thru is closed and that you have to come inside.

Thank you Evander for your great customer service. Your colleagues in the pharmacy should take lessons from you.

Updated Review – Because Apparently Hope Was the First Mistake
I don’t normally go back and change reviews—mostly because I like to believe people and businesses are doing their best. But wow, this place really went out of its way to prove that hope is for amateurs.
After a couple of decent visits, the wheels came off hard. It’s now become a recurring saga of disappointment. Every single time I try to refill my Dexcom G7 sensor? Out. Of. Stock. Not once, not twice—every time. It’s like playing a rigged game of pharmacy roulette, and the prize is always “Try again tomorrow!”
Now let’s talk about the pharmacist vibes, which land somewhere between “mildly annoyed DMV clerk” and “apathetic reality show contestant.” Zero empathy. Zero urgency. Just a lot of “meh” for people literally trying to manage chronic medical conditions.
I’ve been waiting two weeks now. Two weeks of daily finger pricks because someone can’t click a button and order the one thing they know they run out of constantly.
If the person in charge of inventory is still employed, I have questions. Mostly starting with: why? If you can’t keep essential medical devices in stock and your team’s best response is a collective shrug, maybe it’s time for a leadership shuffle.
Get it together. Please. Or don’t—and I’ll just keep updating this review like a petty little diary of disappointment.
