The parts counter staff and mechanics are great but the prices are terrible since the business sold out. I'll be sourcing parts elsewhere when I have to. If I need professional parts advice I definitely recommend these guys. I hope they pay their staff better with the hike in parts and labor.

James always goes above and beyond service. He will keep digging to find you the correct part when no other company will pursue it any further then telling you they don't have the part or that it is on back order. James always is happy and helpful.

I experienced the best customer service I've had, frankly. i snapped a very obscure output shaft on my 81 w250. The man who was helping me was very confident, very insightful, and filled with humor.(I'm terrible with names). However they couldn't find what I needed. but instead of turning me a way empty handed. gave me a lot of suggestions, and I followed through with all of them, to end up beefing my mopar up with out breaking the bank. the man at the counter gave me a lot of his time for free to just gave me some insight , for me to only spend 18 dollars for a output seal . these guys are the real deal . taking care of the customer even if its out of their reach .

They built my diff and had a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty and said if anything breaks bring it back. My pinion flange snapped on me just driving home 3rd day if driving it with the new unit and they never gave me an answer why they wouldn’t warranty it and told me “that doesn’t happen” even after seeing it in person. Used to like the shop and liked the unit. But I won’t take anything to them again

Recently I purchased a vehicle that had a gearbox at the shop getting rebuilt. The shop worked with me a lot to locate the part, get the work complete, and have it paid for by the previous owner, and picked up a 3ed party to deliver to me. (I live in Anchorage, and Youngs is in Fairbanks...)They never hesitated to take the time to update me and keep me informed. They really did a fantastic job with customer service. The part was also clean upon delivery, and it looked as good as new. Very quality work.

They regeared my jeep and added e lockers, completely transformed my ride. They did it on time, at quote, and the work has held up in some serious conditions. Appreciate it.

Honestly wish I could rate it higher. I had them install my brand new nitro gears and rear e-locker in December. To make a long story short they told me to pick my truck up, the front desk guy said he was sorry his mechanic was a diva and wouldn't finish the wiring for my e-locker so there was loose wiring hanging in the engine compartment and dash. I took it back the next day asking why it was vibrating and making a loud noise from the front diff, mechanic said it's just aftermarket gears do that and to come back if it got worse. My front axle locked up on the highway this morning, which I'm ok but that could've been much worse. When I called the guy on the phone said he guessed I'd have to bring it in. That's a joke. I expected the best gear shop in town to have marginal customer service (bc alaska) but good know how, they don't have either.
