Wonderful spa, but I have to knock off one star for very slow service at the bistro, supposedly because they only had one person in the kitchen, but the dining area was at most half full. One person should have been able to get our order to us within 45 minutes. Another star comes off because they had only one steam room and it was closed; people who have difficulty with dry heat had no options that didn't involve a pool.

I surprised my husband for our anniversary and planned a couples massage which comes with a day of hydrotherapy. I booked it about 2 months out, the scheduling on their site needs some work. It’s a little confusing. So I called and a gentleman helped me get everything scheduled. We got there about an hour before our massage which worked out perfect. The lady at the desk was very informative on the route we should take for hydrotherapy, food options, and so on. We opted to take our time and changed into swimsuits and robes then have some tea and a quick snack at two trees bistro before heading upstairs for our massage. Our server was amazing, I really wish I remembered her name because she deserves recognition. She was friendly and you can see she cared about if we liked what we ordered. For our couples massage, I scheduled the Nordic signature massage. It’s definitely not a traditional massage. They use a couple of tools and explain what they’re going to do prior to the massage. My husband and I didn’t know what to expect but we really enjoyed it.After our massages we sat in the sauna outside to breathe in the essential oils more before rinsing off. Then we continued to the loop, from the sauna, skipping a couple of the cold pools (it was about 5 degrees outside when we went), hot pools, steam rooms. I personally didn’t care for the forest loop. The saunas and hot pools were tiny and people were over crowding those. So we stayed in the main area. The locker rooms were clean, each time I went in there was someone cleaning the locker rooms and bathroom. With how many people were there dripping wet all over the floors, I think they did a pretty good job. Plus each person I interacted with on the staff were very friendly. There’s room for improvement, but overall I think it’s worth the trip and experience at least once. I would go again in a couple of years to see what improvements they make.

The twilight special they have going on (5-9pm) is great after a day of skiing. Really enjoyed the concept of hot, cold, warm/relax, and repeat. Spent 4 hours there the first time, 5 the second. Enjoyed chatting with other guests, the Finnish sauna, and the coldest tub near the steam room. Only negative would be there was a decent line for the showers around dinner time.

What an amazing day. Loved all the pools, saunas, and different types of water. Used valet and easy in and out to arrive. We booked our day online and website was a little complicated but can be done. You can also call to schedule. Ate in bistro and food was really good. My only suggestion is they should add a swimsuit spinner to locker rooms to get water out of bathing suits.

Substandard experience for the caliber of establishment.-They don’t plow the sidewalks and the parking lot is almost 0.5 miles away.-There’s a shuttle, but only leaves once every twenty minutes past the hour.-There’s a sign for valet, but no valet to be seen.-Don’t be surprised if all the water features aren’t open or functioning.-If you want a deep tissue massage, this isn’t the place.-Do yourself a favor and just call the reservation desk instead of trying to muddle through the online reservation platform.-The spa may feel more like a waterpark than a relaxing spa on a busy day.

Although I do enjoy this spa since I’ve gone 3x this year I do have a complaint regarding my last visit: In the wooden hot tub/sauna area, my girlfriend & I were in the tiny hot tub when 4 people decided to join us because the water was “cooler” where we were. It was rude. We left due to overcrowding and went to the small sauna, where another group joined us after seeing it was clearly occupied. I think it should be posted around the area that the wooden hot tubs are made for one group only and not for others to join due to the size.Another complaint is the policy where you cannot return after you leave. It cost $120 for a full day and the food is very overpriced and there is a very limited menu. Either improve your menu options (bring back the seafood charcuterie board), or allow people to leave to get their own food nearby and return.

I came to the Nordic spa for my birthday. First off they give you a robe and slippers apparently one size fits all? With no pockets! All I wanted to do was read my book and wear my glasses so I could see, but with no pockets I was stuck carrying them around the entire time. All the robes are exactly the same with no way to decipher which robe is whose? So someone straight off the bat took my robe. GROSS!Everyone was questioning whose robe is whose? There should be At least a tag that lets you know which robe is which. Also because all the robes have no pockets I watched a person look through 30 robes because they had stuck their hearing aids in the hood and someone again walked off with the wrong robe. GROSS! The amenities were nice the steams were great, until I was the only woman in a steam with about 15, 18 year old young men who were very loud and obnoxious. It’s supposed to feel like a tranquil place. I felt out of place. Would I do the Nordic spa again, ya maybe. Especially with a friend who hasn’t gone before. Would I do it on my own again for peace of mind? Absolutely not.

The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Clean and well kept facility, inside and out. The decor and atmosphere with the hydrotherapy, gourmet food and top shelf cocktails makes for an overall excellent experience. I would recommend going.

The spa experience at Alyeska Nordic Spa is phenomenal. You are given a wearable wrist strap that grants you access to your private locker.Waiting for you in the locker is a thick comfy robe and sandals.Once you leave your phone behind you are ready to embark on an adventure in relaxation. There are terrific saunas, steam rooms, and pools that range from cold, to body temp, and hot tubs. The bistro has one of the best grilled cheeses I have experienced; brie and blueberry.Well worth your time!

Beautiful setting and facilities! No phones allowed outside the locker rooms. I suggest going early as it got busy after 1 pm. We stayed for 5 hours soaking in the different hot tubs, detoxifying in steam rooms and saunas and exfoliating in the Exfoliation cabin. We ate in the Bistro which was very good despite small menu. Finally we ended the day with an awesome Nordic couples 60 minute massage. It rained the whole day and made for a magical experience so don't let that deter you. Would definitely return maybe when it snows! Thanks Alyeska!

I had an amazing time at Alyeska Nordic Spa. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with unparalleled hospitality and warmth. The facilities are spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. The range of saunas, steam rooms, and pools catered to my every need and perfectly balanced relaxation and rejuvenation. We had made reservations online a few weeks prior, and we had chosen the 60-minute Nordic Time Together package, which is a package for a couple. The massage is conducted in a large room with two massage tables and two massage therapists. Our two therapists were Jessi Demit and Andie Heim. They were exceptionally professional upon meeting with us for the first time, welcoming us to our room. Their demeanor was hospitable and considerate. The room was pristine, and the air was pleasing to the senses. They explained what the whole package entailed, validated that we wanted the Nordic Time Together, asked about our medical history, what we wanted to focus on, whether we had a professional massage before (we have), when was the last time we had a massage, what the primary problem areas were, and ended the tutorial with what to expect, what to do to prepare for the massage, and asked if we had any questions or concerns. They both did spectacularly and found many of the bothersome knots for my wife and me.The standout was undoubtedly their unique Nordic bathing ritual. The cycle of hot, cold, and relaxation phases was a sublime experience. The natural beauty surrounding the spa is stunning and adds a tranquil element to the overall experience. The staff members are professional and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They profoundly understood their services and their treatment recommendations were spot on.Visiting Alyeska Nordic Spa was an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a break from the bustle of daily life. The combination of nature, world-class facilities, and top-notch service made this one of the most enjoyable spa experiences ever. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Five stars all around!

We booked a massage that includes the hydrotherapy entrance fee. The massage rooms were one of the best I’ve seen (I highly recommend). The baths and saunas where spectacular and beautifully located in middle of jungle. The restaurant is very nice and they have delicious white chocolate cocoa! This place is a must. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to enjoy everything.

Fantastic little spa. Wife and I visited here at the beginning of March and was perfect for hanging out in the hot pools and saunas. The steam room ended up being my favorite. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. When they say this is a cell phone free area they mean it. I watched employees talk to every person they saw with a cell phone. It helped me relax and didn't have to hear anyone's music etc. Very peaceful and a great place to recharge.
