Breakfast ends at noon, not 1pm as the official description from the restaurant states here! We got there and got in line a few minutes before noon but they unfortunately told us no when we got to the counter. They did give the guy in front of me pancakes after noon but not me.

We were heading back from Alyeska and wanted a quick snack, so we stopped here. So glad we did! Great croissant sandwiches, cookies, and apple fritter! Also, I highly recommend the Alpine Latte! Unfortunately, there's no place to sit and eat, but well worth stopping for take out.

Always closed and never consist times. The only good thing is the bottomless soup. If the soup wasn’t offered I’d never go here and recommend against it.

The best breakfast spot in the area, absolutely loved the pancakes, but don’t order their espresso drinks (their drip coffee is decent though).

I loved this place for it's amazing sourdough pancakes, and I would get them all the time! But now, they've changed their recipe!! Their pancakes are now normal pancakes! I just CAN'T with that! But otherwise, I would reccomend the bake shop! It's actually a really nice place. I do note that the sourdough bread loaves that you can buy are literally splendiferous. Buy one.

You ever been to a place that feels like people who are growing up in the town work there? It's hard to describe the energy but it's pleasantly relaxing, even when crowded. I'd suggest getting there early-is as we entered into a line and walked past a line on the way out. It's THAT popular. There's a reason for that: the food is consistent. Everyone's toast came out perfectly, the bacon was cooked fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and the drinks were good.Recommendation: Cinnamon bun. Oh. My. Gosh. Not too sweet, crunchy on the top and so delicately light and soft inside. That was the highlight of breakfast, aside from peripherally observing the kitchen staff jamming out to 90s/2000s punk/skater rock and curse at a few fringe toasts.Sure, if you're a person of color you may get some side glances but it won't be from staff. The food is worth it.

What a great breakfast stop on our way to Whittier cruise port. Ample food, ambiance and great coffee. Came here on a recommendation from Brown Bear Saloon hotel. The French toast looked amazing but pancakes and jams were enough. Check out the great pottery for lifetime coffee. Strip mall at base of hill was a wonderful setting. Amazing art inside too

This was the only place in town open and did not disappoint! Had a veggie scramble with super fresh produce and admired the Roll & Butter for $3.50 from afar! So decadent.

We decided to stop for breakfast on our way from Anchorage to Seward, and it was a fantastic choice! With plenty of recommendations in mind, we ordered the sourdough pancake stack, and let me tell you, those pancakes were absolutely delightful. We also tried the mushroom and spinach scramble, which turned out to be a great pick! It was a satisfying breakfast all around. The coffee was spot-on, and the friendly servers made the experience even better. Whether you're on an Anchorage to Seward road trip or exploring Girdwood, this place is a definite winner for breakfast. Enjoy your meal! ??☕
