This is a fine store in Homer and quite successful: Any negative review you see below that involves a personal attack on this owner is being quite misleading. They are using a misleading identity and telling half truths. Their misleading narrative indicates they know full well they are harassing others in the community but claiming the high road in a self serving way to say the least. Any help that is needed should start by the person looking in the mirror. IMO, they have probably had the same problems before moving to Alaska just in time to be a nuisance to this business owner on a personal basis and then posting it to the business webpage.

The owner of this store is threatening and harassing me, my family and our (trained obedient) dogs for months. It’s affects my physical health not to mention all the fear and anxiety. Every time we cross paths, I’m harassed and belittled. Not once have I seen her and NOT gotten berated. She’s threatened legal action to have my dog taken away from me multiple times for alerting me of a moose on MY property, as she’s trained to do. She is my new service k9, training retire my other service dog. If she were at all unpredictable, I could not keep her. Maybe a friend will see this and could encourage her to seek help for whatever she’s struggling with. I’m truly afraid for her mental state. She only escalates each time.

We just returned from a wonderful 2 week trip to Alaska. The entire trip we were looking for Alaska made items and were having a hard time. Most of the shops had items made in China. We stumbled upon AK Starfish and noticed that their hoodies/shirts were made in America. I bought a zipped hoodie and wore it most of the rest of our trip. I returned the next day and told the owner that I purchased from her store because they are American made. She was so appreciative. A really sweet lady. I will be ordering from her website and sharing with friends. If you are ever in Homer go visit this store.

All things Alaska! If you're looking for merchandise that has "Alaska" showcased then this is your place. They have sweatshirts, T-shirts, Hats... You name it they have it. Alaskan made soaps and other knickknack items available as well. Pricing is pretty reasonable. They also have a shop location in the airport in AnchorageIf you see something you can't live without.

I think I have been to every location in the state and this one is by far the nicest given the view. Kudos to the owner of this establishment for building a reputable brand with a lot of locally made products, such as honey from Fairbanks. Nice merchandise. Friendly staff.

The girls were very friendly! Mya was very helpful when we called and asked about the boots. When we arrived, she greeted us and carried on a great conversation. Both girls working in the back store and the one working in the front store were super engaged and enjoyed what they did. Customer service is just as important as finding the right gift for family traveling from afar. This place excelled in that regard. Though we didn’t find the right sized boot we were able to find clothes and were given another store to try.
