The Shops by HTA is Hoonah's newest gift store on the harbor, specializing in high quality Alaskan gifts. It features a great selection of numerous unique "Made in Alaska" items, including t-shirts, local craft items, Alaskan artisan goods, art work by Indigenous artists, hats, figurines, Christmas ornaments, bags, food, and sweet confections. The staff is amazing, super friendly, incredibly helpful, and most hospitable. They wrap items with care. The shop has a nice product range with unique finds and a little sale corner. It is described as one of the nicest shops, with very nice outdoor seating and a pleasant walk from Icy Strait Point.
It's a small shop and lots of items to buy. It's season end and they have 40% all items in the store. Good place to shop for souvenirs.

They were most hospitable and had a ton items to choose from from. They also facilitated our whale watch excursion, and embraced the “Lost cruise couple”. Nicest people ever. Please patronize them. They are the best ever.
