“Big shout out to the staff! Last week my family visited, including our 4 year old and her labubu. Due to a very unfortunate incident , her labubu ended up being dropped in one of the salmon holding tanks. We were definitely not expecting to get it back, even when the staff assured us they would try. Much to our surprise a couple hours later , they called us to report the stuffy was back safe and sound! When we arrived to pick her up, the staff informed us that they gave her a hand bath and a blow dry!! Needless to say they will forever be heros in our family!”
“What a cozy, niche, hidden gem of a place!! I'm happy I stumbled across this. Volunteer run, offering an assortment of teas and cookies for free... I mean the space is filled with an eclectic mix of items and instruments and books. I come here to veg out.”
“Awesome visit, well worth the time and happy to get out of downtown for a bit. Josh is a wealth of information and very well-spoken; great representative! If on a cruise definitely make a point of hitting this. Also - many bald eagles to be seen - bonus!”
“Sail helped me with so many things after getting to Alaska. They help so many people around southeast Alaska and have always been a huge help in multiple towns for me. Probably one of the most important businesses in Alaska as far as helping people access resources and finding grant for people who qualify for them.”
“The staff is very friendly, yes things can be pricey but you can also find great deals. I had a terrible experience at another theft store downtown (Salvation Army) that made me feel terrible because I found 2 items at 1.00 each for fake snow, the cashier whom said, " I'm the manager and this is mispriced, obviously my employees are putting the wrong price on things and the best I could do is 5 dollars each" FOR FAKE SNOW....it's September and I'm thinking a head for my first Christmas here.... at ST Vincent they actually get HAPPY AND EXCITED for you when you find a good deal! That is why I will pay a little more at ST Vincent. Thrift Store. Don't go to the Salvation army downtown juneau.”
“Beautiful cultural center. Denali is an amazing guide. My mom and I are Tlingit and here to learn more about our culture, and he spent so much time answering our questions.”
