Foggy Mountain Shop is a full-service outdoor retail store in Juneau, Alaska, serving the community for over 40 years. The staff is super knowledgeable, helpful, patient, friendly, and efficient, often using the gear they sell to provide warm and welcoming service. They offer a wide variety of high-quality products and spend time explaining different options. While prices can be a little high, the shop is highly recommended for outfitting backpackers, skiers, mountaineers, and recreationists with all the outdoor gear they need.

Great selection of outdoor gear at reasonable prices. They are NOT a t-shirt shop with a few outdoor accessories; they are serious about stocking good products, especially rain gear and lightweight shells/covers. Well worth the walk up Franklin to Seward, with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
