And then at the top of the list of the recommendations was Gary’s fine jewelry. We walked in a little skeptical because of tourist traps. Not only is this a family run business, they were so welcoming and engaging. Their prices were significantly more fair than anything we found in other stores. They even follow up with the certificate of authenticity mailed to your home. “i bought exactly the 26mm Rolex for which I’d been looking from Max — mother of pearl diamond dial, diamond bezel — with the original dial and bezel in case i want to sell it to a collector. he offered me an amazing price, worked with me to give me exactly what i wanted, replaced the bezel while i waited, and showed me how to check authenticity of the watch, the bezel, the dial…had paperwork and we verified the serial number together. he taught me a lot about Rolex. amazing experience and i would have bought from Max even if I’d found it cheaper down the street (far from the case!!!). i cannot recommend enough. 10 stars. I feel I made a lifelong relationship. also, best part — NO PRESSURE TACTICS!!”
