Wow! What a Gem!! Friendly and caring place. Unique fabric and trim takes hours to decide your dream project. I signed us up for the Kuspuk class. THEY SHOW MY HUSBAND how to sew and use a serger. Since we live out of town. They were so kind to stay open later so we could go home with a finished project. We will definitely go back and take another class.

Excellent display of beautiful fabrics. A large selection of Alaskan designed fabrics. Lots of quilts on display, quilt kits, patterns and notions. Worth a visit!

-BEAUTIFUL fabrics, especially the batiks. Very Alaska-y. Fireweed, mosquito, salmon, otter, whale, bear, forget-me-not, berry, ALL the Alaska batiks.
-Qaspek (Kuspuk) patterns for adults, children, and dolls available.
-Fun quilt patterns
-a lot of appliqué stuff, kits, precuts, patterns for appliqué wall hangings
-SUPER NICE owner. I would buy stuff from her even if it weren't as beautiful as it is because she was so nice, kind, happy. Very helpful for me as I'm new to appliqué.
-lots of little 1/2 yard cuts or fat quarters to get for someone as a gift.
-many fabrics of work showing famous Alaskan artists' works and designs.
---> 100% recommend !!! Even if you're visiting from out of state, complete recommend.

Super cute quilt shop located in Kenai, Alaska. They sell lots of fabric from local artists. They offer many sewing classes, have a nice line of minky Alaskan fabrics, offer long-arm quilting services, and more. This is a lovely store. Great customer service. I highly recommend this local Alaskan quilt shop!

I had the most wonderful experience with North Beach Quilting. I placed an order for fabric, but I made a big mistake in what yardage I needed. I wrote them an email about it, but then thought, "What if they cut the fabric before reading my email. So, I looked up the current time in Kenai Alaska and the shop was still open. Thank goodness! I called and Shonda was already working on my order! I explained my mistake and fortunately she hadn't cut that fabric yet. She was so sweet and fix and processed my order and shipped it promptly. I am so happy because I bought a quilt kit many years ago near where I live, but the kit didn't include the quilt backing. I had a hard time finding the matching fabric and was amazed I found it on the other side of the continent. I am tickled pink! Thank you so much Shonda!! You're my Angel today and I very much appreciate the kind help you gave me. May the Alaskan Spirits be with you.SG
