Amazing place to stay or just visit the lodge while you are in ketchikan. Restaurants serve delicious, unique food options. The views are breathtaking, even on a rainy day!

Always take the good from a bad situation ??I'll NEVERrrrr work there again!?@#*Especially; not the kitchen. Way too much nonsense going on there. Extremely toxic. If your a Woman that has standards. You'll be VERY disappointed. I'll keep my memories of going there since it was built. An steer clear from now on. Thanks for ruining it for me.

You can’t beat the views. The ocean view is the best! The lodge has artifacts throughout each floor. It is all museum quality and very educational. There is a lot of pride shown in their displays. The restaurant in the lodge was good too. The service was a bit slow. The help liked to visit with each other too much, but the meals were satisfying but expensive. I would recommend staying here. You can watch eagles from your room and if yours are lucky, possibly see a whale service in the ocean. The pictures are views from our room window. Ketchikan is a wonderfulPlace to explore. Go anywhere in town and you can see salmon swimming, seals playing, jelly fish, and even whales surfacing.Nearby activities: Plenty to see and do! Take a hike on the trails through a rain forest of ancient trees. See the museums. Explore the parks. Go fishing or rent a kayak. There is so much to do and explore! Enjoy eating the fresh shrimp, salmon and halibut. The beauty of Mother Nature surrounds you in Alaska.

It was clean, nice , comfortable, food in restaurants was good etc. It is a bit out of the way and up the hill which is great for the views (we didnt mind that at all), BUT the tram wasn't working when we were there, so we walked the stairs which unfortunately was lined with people smoking crack that we literally had to walk through breathing it in to get by, multiple times. The shower was always cold , have to leave it running for 10-15 minutes. They said you have to do that when it's cold , but it wasn't cold, at all. Little disappointing , but the staff was exceptional polite and shuttle driver (Ken) was awesome.

Kate Fox Lodge is a fantastic place to stay while in ketchikan. The rooms are great the views are unbelievable and the service is wonderful. The native art pieces throughout the buildings are fantastic and the restaurant and gift shop are wonderful. I can't explain how much my wife and I enjoyed are one week visit here. The proximity to downtown is amazing as well.

We ate at the restaurant, the food and service was great. The price was reasonable for the amount of food you get. When I cruise here I will come here to eat. Thank you for a great breakfast. ?

2nd time there, awesome place. Only went for dinner and loved it. Food was great, got a comfortable seat in dinning room right in front of TV for football. Service was good, views are incredible.

I hate writing bad reviews! We have been to this restaurant multiple times so our experience is a culmination of multiple visits. My wife nearly tripped in the foyer and the front desk guy laughed at her and told her to wear different shoes. What?! This is the “main” reason we will never return. The weird experience of going to the restaurant and told there were no tables but try the pizza place downstairs only to be turned away there also. The downstairs pizza place offered to call upstairs to see if there was any availability and they said there was so we went back upstairs. Guess they wanted us to “work up an appetite”.The waitresses lack of interest in helping take our order was an odd experience at what seemed like a nice restaurant based on the decor and online reviews.Perhaps they are under new management? Short staffed? Not sure but the prices don’t match the service and to be honest after the weird interaction with the hotel front desk guy with the long hair we’ll just stop going. There are other options with way friendlier/professional service in Ketchikan.

I went there for the totem poles and Tlinkit boat and artefacts.I did not stay there, I was a walk-in and had only a light meal there.Good meal at reasonable price and friendly service. The lady at the reception is super friendly, she encouraged me to go upstairs to see more artefacts and historic photos.Walkability: 10 minutes down a wooden staircase to historic Creek Street, Salmon ladder, museum, and "married men path"Food & drinks: Nice ambience with great view

Fantastic RestaurantThe view is great, up and overlooking the ocean ( bit of a hike to get up there, but worth it ).Cody was our server and he was attentive and efficient. It was lunch, so we skipped the steak ( they have an in house dry age program). The Gruyere Halibut on fries was incredible and the crab cakes had large chunks of Crab.
