“We just spent a week at the Gilmore. We had a great view of the waterfront and cruise ships. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown. We walked to all the shops, restaurants, tours, Lumberjack show and Creek Street.
The staff was friendly and attentive. They did our laundry for a tip. Free coffee, water, tea and hot chocolate available 24 hrs. Totally enjoyed the vintage vibe. I would stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here in Ketchikan.”

“We booked a King room. Were told @ check in, that all they had was a 2 x double bed room... disappointing when you specifically book something... only perk was that it was an end unit... the balcony view was of their docks, which worked great for us since our fishing charter guy picked us up & dropped us off right there... ? Rooms were clean. Shower water was decently hot... shitty water pressure tho. Location was decent. Close to Walmart, about a 5 min drive to town center.
Dunno if I would stay here again... feel like there were better options for same price...”
“We went on a cruise and went halibut fishingHad a wonderful time and our guide was very knowledgeable. We had our fish shipped home and when they got here they were bad?. So I called the gatewaysmokehouse and they were very helpful and understanding. They offered a refund or to send more fish. I asked them to send more fish and it arrived correctly and there was even a little more fish this time than the first time. I would highly recommend this company and had zero issues at all with them. I would blame ups for my fish being bad and not them because the second batch of fish was completely frozen and perfect.Thanks again gatewaysmokehouse we will definitely send business your way!!!!!!!”

“We come through every summer and I can't state enough how awesome this place is. The rooms are standard but very clean. What sets it apart is the staff. They are always so friendly and accommodating for our group (storing fish, helping with lost items, etc.) I wish there were a way to pay it forward because these guys deserve it.”
