“Room and front desk were great. But I needed to eat and the hotel restaurant would not answer the phone on hotel phone or cellphone. Started calling at 8 pm, open till 10. Called front desk and they said restaurant was open and not busy. Should have bought microwave food at grocery store.”

“It is a great historical hotel right in the heart of downtown Ketchikan. It's also attached to a nice restaurant as well, so you can't go wrong with the location and the amenities it offers. I had a great stay, and I will most definitely be back on my next visit! Thank you...”

“The gentleman at the front desk on the afternoon of Sept 1 was fantastic. Polite and professional, and really made me feel welcome. He handled a large crowd that all showed up at the same time to check in with ease.Great location on the less-touristy side of town. You'll need to walk or take a cab to restaurants. This is the newest hotel in town. It's pricey, but so is everything else. Worth it if you want to be near that end of town for the marina or else the airport ferry.”

“Great location- and really view. Room was very clean. Easy 25 minutes from airport ferry town side stop by walking and 25 minutes walk to creek street for salmon walk viewing. Right next to Safeway and Starbucks. Monty the manager was great! We will use it again.Walkability: 25 minutes walk to everywhere you need to go!”

“We went on a cruise and went halibut fishingHad a wonderful time and our guide was very knowledgeable. We had our fish shipped home and when they got here they were bad?. So I called the gatewaysmokehouse and they were very helpful and understanding. They offered a refund or to send more fish. I asked them to send more fish and it arrived correctly and there was even a little more fish this time than the first time. I would highly recommend this company and had zero issues at all with them. I would blame ups for my fish being bad and not them because the second batch of fish was completely frozen and perfect. Thanks again gatewaysmokehouse we will definitely send business your way!!!!!!!”
