“Cool little store with a unique selection of gems, minerals, carvings, and most importantly gold nuggets! My wife got a cute little jade statue of a bear catching a salmon and I got a small gold nugget. Prices were great and Glory was super helpful - she even let me hold a weighty $20k gold nugget. Great spot.”

“While vacationing in Ketchikan I overheard a rave review about Orca Jewels and I knew I had to check it out for myself. Just as I had heard the store was authentic and inviting. Ali and Tamarah were friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me weigh the options between two gorgeous Opal rings I couldn’t decide between! Walking into the store I was hopeful I found the place for the perfect Ketchikan AK memento and I was as not disappointed! The timeless piece I found there will definitely be a family heirloom for generations to come. Thank you both so much for creating such a wonderful experience from start to finish!”

“This is the type of store I look for as a person visiting town. It has a little bit of every category of actual local goods, prices were reasonable too. I noticed a lot of the port shops have the same alaska themed shirts and mugs, and souvenirs, making the other shops feel redundant, this was not the case here. Great customer service from the people working there as well, answered questions and had a lot of product knowledge.”

“I had one of those strange, winding mornings where a few little things kept redirecting me, and somehow it all led me into Ketchikan Dry Goods. I had actually tried to go to two other gift shops first, but both were closed. My taxi driver ended up bringing me here instead, and honestly it felt like the day was meant to lead me there.
The shop itself is amazing. If you like beautiful, thoughtful things — the kind of items you don’t see everywhere — this place is absolutely worth stopping in. I could have spent so much time just looking around because there are so many interesting pieces and little treasures tucked throughout the store.
But what really made the experience stand out was the woman working at the front. I wish I had asked her name because she was beyond kind. She was welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful in a way that felt very real — not pushy, not salesy, just someone who clearly cares about the shop and the people walking through the door.
Sometimes a store is great because of what they sell. Sometimes it’s great because of the people. This place was both.
If you’re in Ketchikan, do yourself a favor and stop into Ketchikan Dry Goods. You never know — it might end up being exactly where the day was meant to take you too. ✨”

“Just made my third selection from the wonderful House of Diamonds. We've stopped in Ketchikan twice on HAL cruises, and we make it a point to visit HOD to see what beautiful jewelry they have. I purchased a blue and white diamond eternity ring years a few years ago, and I treasure it! My husband bought a lovely watch to add to his collection. Last year, I encouraged my sister to come with me, and she found a Northern Lights set that was dazzling. To surprise her, I arranged (over email) to have a matching piece sent from House of Diamonds to her for her birthday a few months later. Recently, I purchased a gorgeous pair of blue and white diamond channel set earrings. Simply amazing; I love them. The staff members at House of Diamonds are so friendly and helpful whether you are there in person or arranging something via text/email. I feel comfortable asking questions, and I appreciate their expertise. If you are on a cruise, be sure to stop there for a brilliant souvenir of your trip. I can't think of a better way to commemorate a special journey or occasion. I love my pieces from House of Diamonds, and you can bet I'll be back the next time I am in Ketchikan.”

“Visited the store in September...very quaint and staff were helpful. They even wrapped my ornaments extra so they would not break when flying home! Got home and the more I thought about this one whale tail ornament the more I wished I had purchased it. Decided to order online. “I will give 4 stars to this place, 1 star is because I spent...? Jokes apart very nice place to be. I shop with them since 3 years. This time the plan was nothing to buy, I just went to say hi to Steve and his wife. But just mentioning i will buy 3 carat diamonds studs on next visit, Steve showed me 2 pairs of studs and gave me the price for both. There was a big difference in price for 2 pairs. On asking he mentioned one is IGI eco friendly diamond pair and another one is GIA earth mined diamond pair. By explaining everything I ended up buying IGI eco friendly diamond pair of earrings. Steve is really nice person and he is one of the locally owned store not like seasonal jewelry store.”
