Andy was wonderful! My boyfriend and I went on a cruise and we stopped in Ketchikan Alaska, and I bought this beautiful ring. I had it about 2 weeks and the stone fell out. I reached out to Andy and I sent it back and he replaced the stone. He was awesome! I love the ring and earrings I bought there..thank you

I am a retired jeweler and I was blown away by the quality and prices of the opals in this store. Fabulous, bright colors and unbelievable prices. These are the real deal. Genuinely beautiful opals that everyone can afford. I bought a ring with a 6mm x 4mm blue green opal for $130 dollars. The stone alone would retail elsewhere for over $500.00. This is a must

This is the best shop I have seen in my 12 days touring Alaska. Great crafts, great staff, very authentic, and surprisingly low prices. In addition to the jewelry and opals there is lots of carved wood and other similar art / crafts.

Friendly people working here. My wife wears very little jewelry, but we both fell in love with this whale tale. The red opal gives it an awesome illusion. The chain is junk and turned color in about 2 weeks

Okay, I cut Australian opal. Imagine my surprise when I found this shop in Alaska 😯. Andy's shop is fantastic. His selection is second to none and exceptionally well priced. I never imagined I would be purchasing rough opal in Alaska. From a miner who mines in Australia. To bring back to the UK. At a price better than from Australia. WOW.

GO HERE BEFORE ANY OTHER JEWELRY AND SOUVENIR SHOP IN TOWN.This guy is the real deal, NOT some 'sponsored' '70% off' huckster like the guys down by the dock. One of the most honest and down-to-earth jewelers I've ever spoken to. Visit yourself to see the giant opals his family mined themselves!this is not a paid review I just get really hyped up by good business practices ?

One of the funnest shops on Creek street. The original funny man has different comedic quips around the shop. Talk to Andy. Good folks. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. This guy finds and handcrafts all his ivory creations. It's also the Opal shop, the handmade local personalized apron shop and maybe the wood burnt sculpture shop? Not exactly my type of store per se but I enjoyed it. Mrs. E. really dug it. Especially the jewelry. I believe she bought some Opal design of his. No comment from her usually means she did. It's a cool place to check out. Even if it's not your thing. The guy can do it all. He doesn't charge a fortune either! 08/23

Fantastic local shop with the owner who makes all his own jewelry and artwork. He made the fountain in this photo as well as opal whale fluke jewelry. Super friendly and clever guy with hilarious sayings around the store.
