I have never personally visited Scanlon's Gallery (yet) but I'm giving it five stars for personal reasons. While working a high stress job and at my wits end over the management's failures to support employees, I passed a package addressed to Scanlon's Gallery. In my haste, I thought I read the words "Scandalous Gary" which struck me as quite funny and absurd. I doubled back and found out the correct name on the package, and thought that they deserve my kudos and appreciation for lifting my spirits on a stormy day. Will visit someday.

I thought this was a great shop! Beautiful art. I purchased several cards with local artwork to send to friends and family back home. I visited multiple times because I kept thinking of more people to send cards to. On one of my visits, there was a local author signing copies of her cookbooks and children's books. This place is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a piece of art that is made locally or if you want to find some cute cards to say hi from Alaska.

I was really excited to find a print of local artist Dave Rubin. Excited to frame and hang it on my entry wall so I can see it every time I come home. Super helpful and friendly staff.

We visited from Belgium in August. Have seldom seen a gallery that has so much beautiful art by local artists. I love our print of the Ketchikan town sights. Thanks again to the owner who was very kind and helpful, and I hope you meet your Belgian pen pal soon :)

A fantastic selection of beautiful art by local and native artists! Amazing customer service in the store for in-person shopping. And when I got home and couldn’t stop thinking about a couple pieces I didn’t buy I was able to buy them from their online store where there was again outstanding customer service! My purchases arrived quickly and safely! Don’t hesitate to shop in person, ship purchases home, or shop online from this wonderful gallery! ❤️❤️❤️

Do yourself a favor, SHOP AND BROWSE HERE! As a fifty year resident and store operator I have seen many stores I’m not proud to say operate here! This is possibly the best in Alaska! Fair, honest, and knowledgeable! You won’t regret the tip!
