“Jesus, Wendy and Crystal have the best store out of all the stores in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. They were the kindest and most helpful folks we came across on our cruise. We’ve met multiple local shop owners that were great, but this store was different. High quality items sold with love!”
“I had one of those strange, winding mornings where a few little things kept redirecting me, and somehow it all led me into Ketchikan Dry Goods. I had actually tried to go to two other gift shops first, but both were closed. My taxi driver ended up bringing me here instead, and honestly it felt like the day was meant to lead me there.
The shop itself is amazing. If you like beautiful, thoughtful things — the kind of items you don’t see everywhere — this place is absolutely worth stopping in. I could have spent so much time just looking around because there are so many interesting pieces and little treasures tucked throughout the store.
But what really made the experience stand out was the woman working at the front. I wish I had asked her name because she was beyond kind. She was welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful in a way that felt very real — not pushy, not salesy, just someone who clearly cares about the shop and the people walking through the door.
Sometimes a store is great because of what they sell. Sometimes it’s great because of the people. This place was both.
If you’re in Ketchikan, do yourself a favor and stop into Ketchikan Dry Goods. You never know — it might end up being exactly where the day was meant to take you too. ✨”
