“We stayed as a stop over for Katmai. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Kat was super nice and friendly. Would recommend it for others who need a place to stay in King Salmon. The kitchen was an added bonus.”

“I took our family to BTL for a fishing/hiking excursion and was very happy with the overall experience. The Lodge creates a family like environment and they treat each guest/group as part of that family. My girls became very close with one of the guides - Heidi who took extra special care of them, but all of the guides spent time and effort in making sure our experience was top notch for the day. Even on one day where the fishing was somewhat slow (mostly due to user error with fly fishing), our guides took extra time to keep refining our technique and improve our outcomes. The food was exceptional, the rooms were clean/well maintained, and the laundry service was a nice touch so we didn't have to go crazy with packing extra luggage. They really listened to what we wanted - 2 days of fishing focused activity and 2 days of hiking/exploring/wildlife focused activity with fishing - and were able to deliver it. They extended the day length when there were fog delays in the morning to compensate. One of the more unique fishing trips of the many I've been on.”
