“My trip to Fireweed Lodge was the first time I'd been to Alaska, the first time I'd been ocean fishing, and the first time I'd experienced hospitality that far exceeded expectations. When Josh and Chace welcome you into the lodge, they welcome you into their home. The rooms are modern and updated, the boats are in tip top shape, and all of the staff treat you like family. Jess in the kitchen was incredibly helpful and Chace serenaded us with her incredible voice and guitar at dinner. The food is beyond excellent, truly chef prepared meals. I saved the best for last: Nick, our guide, bent over backwards and worked diligently to put us onto incredible fish and kept us laughing when the bite slowed down. I couldn't recommend Fireweed Lodge enough. If you're on the fence about going, just do it, you won't be disappointed.”
“Due to the kind of work I was doing, I only saw the outside in the dark, but inside is 5 stars. I wish the Hilton’s I stay in were this comfortable. Beds, linens, towels, room, all amazing. If you have Verizon for cell, write down directions, cause you’re not going to have service on the island.”

“My flight out of Klawock got canceled and they has a wonderful room available almost immediately. Very nice owner. Amazing apartment. Clean, comfortable, warm, welcoming. She even had basic food available too.”
