“I had the pleasure to be part of Kodiak Care 24, providing medical support to the local Alaskans. As a military member on orders, I needed a vehicle that could support my mission carrying cargo and personnel. Avis wanted $1200 for 4 days which I was going to put on my government travel card. Luckily I was referred to Stephen and Ride Scenic from a passenger on my flight over. He offered me a flat rate that included tax and no added administrative fees which was 1/4 the big car rental companies rates. The Maverick was very economical considering the price of fuel these days.What a pleasure! I wish all my car rental experiences were like this. He delivered the vehicle to me at my hotel and I supported a locally owned business. Please do yourself a favor and use this business. Be flexible and not pretentious. Alaska has its quirks, but I’d definitely refer anyone to Ride Scenic.”
