Kodiak Fish Co. provides fishing charters and ships wild Alaskan seafood. A charter on the URascal resulted in a great catch of King Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and Cod. The captain and crew are described as awesome. The company also expertly packs and ships orders, with the process called seamless. Customers highly recommend the charter and the ordering experience, calling the seafood amazing. However, a partnered fish processor, Kodiak Island Wildsource, has caused issues. One group reported missing salmon filets from their processed catch and could not get a returned call from management. A warning is given to count your fish before the boat delivers it to this processor.
Went out with Capt Dave on the URascal on Sept 1. We nailed them. King Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and Cod. Started the morning trolling and then jigging when a fish was on the troll, then hit our limit of Halibut for the boat and then limited on our Rockfish. 61 fish for 8.5 of us.
