Fireweed Roadhouse is a fantastic little place and hidden gem on the way to Denali National Park and Fairbanks, located about one hour from the park. It offers rooms at a very good and reasonable price. The rooms are cozy, cute, and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. This includes very comfortable beds, a television, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee pod maker, portable fans, extra bedding, and extra towels. The cleanest bathrooms have all the essentials. Amenities also include strong WiFi, more than five power outlets, laundry bins, a private entrance, and free parking. While breakfast is not always included, the hospitality is amazing. The friendly hostess manages the whole property by herself, going above and beyond to make guests feel at home, even offering drinks and snacks for the journey. There is a restaurant and a bar close to the accommodation. The lodge provides a serene escape and is highly recommended.
